Absolutely gorgeous gem in the hills of Temecula Valley. Be forwarned though, this course is not for the faint of heart. Challenge is around every corner, from tight, blind dog legs to fast greens and punishing bunkers, you will have to be on your a-game here. Bring a few extra golf balls and enjoy the scenery, golf range and club house amenities.
I've always enjoyed the times I've played at Cross Creek.

Played on 9/23/23, had a 2: 50 tee time but didn’t get started until 3: 20 due to shortages of carts. I have never been to a golf course where they don’t have carts, pretty unacceptable. Bunkers were bare, greens, tee boxes and fairways were average. Did not get to finish 18 as the pro shop wanted carts in by 6: 30, would not come back until they get the cart situation situated

Our cart died on hole 13 and we had to walk all the way back to the clubhouse and couldn’t finish our round.when we got back to the club house there were MULTIPLE other groups whos carts died too.i called today to try and get a rain check so we could finish our round at least.no luck.if u go here beware ur cart may die and don’t even try asking for a free round out of it.even though there’s absolutely nothing i could’ve done.waste of money.horrible customer service.

While we did not have the chance to sample the golf course we did get the chance to spend time walking the property and enjoying their catering and hosting services. Everyone with whom we came in contact was helpful, friendly and accommodating.

Course is great, staff needs training.

Junior golf "professional" has an inferiority complex. No Customer service skills and acts like he's a big shot because he is behind the desk in a golf pro shop. Would highly recommend a Manager with actual authority give that nobody some training or a big piece humble pie.

What a joke.

We were quoted $55.00 when we made the tee time 10 days in advance, to play on June 19,2023. But when we arrived we were charged $77.00 each and informed that it was a Federal Holiday, and the rate was increased from $55.00 to $77.00. When we asked why were we quoted the lower $55.00 rate, and why won't Cross Creek stand by their original quote of $55.00, we got a shrug of a shoulder, and basically take it or leave it.
We won't be back.

Course was in great shape. The course can be challenging from the tips, fun and friendly from the upper tees, lots of memorable holes, with greens that are tough to read. Downside. Old guy in the proshop was crusty, and they had very limited food menu that closed at 2: 30. No cart service.

** I consider this among the very best daily fee golf courses in all of Southern California when considering course conditions, pace of play, design/layout, natural beauty (no homes!), and VALUE. **

Don't understand the bad reviews and negativity. Is it difficult? Yes but try moving up a tee and I guarantee you will have more fun.

Lush rough but not unfair, greens in generally excellent shape and quick but still receptive enough to accept good approach shots. Some target golf, elevation changes and understanding the layout with repeat visits helps the score. Interesting layout with both 9's having their own special character, from a flatter front 9 to more hilly on the back 9. Each hole also has it's own character but nothing I would consider unfair.

It's an hour drive for me and yet still try to visit once per quarter

Was able to finish a late afternoon start on a Saturday in June in just over 3 hours. Didn't see anyone in front until the 14th hole.

After seeing so many courses close for good, I would dread this ever happening at CrossCreek.

Get out and support this course!

No food/drink service in the course. Felt very DIY. Decent course and well-kept greens. Very quiet and remote. Beautiful scenery. Signs everywhere for snakes and poison oak, which was odd. My cell phone had no service which is a plus and/or a minus depending. The crew was mowing and weed eating on one of the holes and didn't really stop which irritated my allergies. Then the guy driving the mower made a lap around the tee box on the next hole I guess to watch us tee off?

Solid course, good shape, great views. The staff here is the best I’ve come across in the 20+ courses I’ve played in California. It’s definitely off the beaten path but worth it for sure.

The air was nice and the water between the valleys was so thick that I wanted to soak my feet for a while. The course was also good. It was a pleasant day.

Playing conditions are great this spring! Course looks amazing. There’s no other course like this in SoCal.the creek, the trees, the wild life, vineyards, and no cell service. It’s fantastic!

Nice golfing location near all that Temecula has to offer. In addition to golf - they have a nice 19th hole restaurant and bar. Called the 19TH HOLE GRILLE. The manager and cook really knows his stuff and serves up some great sandwiches and snacks. Definitely a plus - for both before a round and after. Skip the fast food and take advantage of what this golf course restaurant has to offer. I had a grilled chicken sandwich that was top quality and tasted great. Will definitely be eating there again!

Cross Creek is in a great pastoral setting, but don't be fooled, you have found an interesting golf course. It's off the beaten path and worth it. The two nines have different personalities, but somehow, it works for a nice challenging and rewarding day of golf.

Course is in fantastic shape and the staff was friendly but the layout is a bit ridiculous. Even the club members I played with told me at the start that it’s “goofy” and they wouldn’t be members if it weren’t for other friends also being members. Drove in from out of town but can’t say it’s worth it to come back again.

Very nice course. Very challenging. Played in a tournament and had a great time. Beautiful area.

The course and staff were both exceptional. However, there is no phone or internet service on the whole property and the wifi did not work.

This course is well maintained. The layout is not as difficult as most noted in their reviews. What's really challenging are the greens. Most of the greens are raised high and run extremely fast. Most of the day I had to 2 or 3 putt the ball. And no cell phone reception at all!

Golf carts do not work but they charge you for them, play elsewhere until they get new ones. Otherwise walk.
