Nice hotel

1. Spacious rooms with comfortable beds
2. Breakfast buffet has a good selection of things BUT CLOSES AT 930 ON SUNDAYS
3. Hotel staff friendliness
4. Internet connection good
5. Location is key, many restaurants and stores in walking distance.

CLOSING breakfast at 930 on a Sunday just to sell you their brunch is NOT GOOD.

Another downside is charging
3$ per package they receive which is something 99% hotels do as a complimentary service.

Other than that i consider this to be a great place to stay for business or leisure.

Clean, quiet, close enough to the city to drive in and do things, but come back to a safe walkable area. The gym and pool are nice. I wish there was a vent in the bathroom, water condensed heavily on ceiling and walls after every shower.

My room was facing the main road which was very disturbing to sleep so I went down to the front desk asked if I can change the room. Unfortunately, due to the weekend all the rooms were fully booked, the evening male staff asked me to ask again tomorrow morning, he said it’s possible there are room available considering people might checkout.

Baring whole night with constant traffic noises without any sleep. Till 7am, I went downstairs to ask the counter to see if there’s any possibility to change the room. The staffs in the morning were different from the evening one, she said the cleaning staffs just started to work in, I’ll have to wait until maybe around 10-11am.

At 11am I went downstairs again, one male staff said to me with nonchalant manner” I’m sorry there’s no room. ” He said.
“But this lady asked me to come back around 10-11am”. I said.
“ Well, ok, you can ask her. ” He said.

The lady said “ I’m sorry the checkout time is after 14: 00pm, there’s no room at the moment or you’ll have to check it out again after that. ” (Excuse me? ! …. The statements were total different from the previous one.)

The male staff yelled to the female one “ I told her there’s no room already but she said you asked her to come again after 10am. ” In front of my face. “ I didn’t ask her anything. ” She said, with fairly cold attitude.

I left with disappointment. Firstly, I was quite upset about the staffs who work in the morning shift. I can totally understand the no room available for the situations but the service attitude was poor enough. Not only taking customer’s needs as non of their businesses but also acting rude in front of customer. This shouldn’t be happened in the 4 stars hotel.

About 6pm I went down to the counter again (This was my third time). The staffs were changed which were same as last night. I explained about the situation of my noisy room, carrying with understanding while I was speaking, the male staff immediately checked the computer for a while and tried his best to help me find a quiet spot.

At the end, Yes, this helpful male staff did help me get one. “ I hope you will sleep well. ” He smiled while giving me the new keycard.

I don’t know the name of the male staff whom worked in the evening on the July 2 2023, But I really appreciated his hospitality and helpful service, he understood the needs of customers and tried his best to assist. As a person who also work in customer services industry, I admire his attitude for the work. The hotel is lucky to have him.

This was a beautiful hotel, loved the decor, but it is pretty noisy at night, pretty sure there's a club at the first floor, so you could hear all the music. Indoor pool was nice since it was raining that day, overall had lots a fun.

I stayed the room facing restaurant, I can’t sleep because club music is very noisy at 11: 30 PM. It’s the same situation in noon time.
NOT comfortable for sleep at all.

I will never stay at this hotel again. It was hot and muggy in there and the first room we got did not have air conditioning so they had to send maintenance up to fix it, and then when we finally wanted to lay down and watch TV the TV was broken! Front desk which hasn’t been helpful AT ALL, said that they would see if maintenance can come take a look at it but if not we had to switch rooms. They refused to come up to the room and try to help with it so we were forced to switch rooms which was on the 5th floor and it smelled like cigarettes in there and I had my child with me! It said it was a non smoking room so I called front desk to let them know and they said there were no more rooms available and that they would send a maid up to spray the room. Don’t waste your money here. Oh yeah and no free breakfast.

Speaking for the Cafe Florian Sunday Brunch Buffet. This spot is awesome! As long as you know what won't get you too full or is a bit more expensive, you'll be able to fulfill your $55 per person price tag. Our server Lucia was also amazing! Guest service is a must at eating establishments, and she was great! She filled up our bottomless mimosas and waters quickly.

Clogged sink, dirty toilet, no water, no breakfast, staff was not helpful. I can’t belive this is $200 per night. I would give 0 star if possible.

Both the room and the bathroom are spacious and comfortable, and the bathroom accessories are also very complete. The room is also equipped with a small refrigerator, a kettle and a coffee machine.

There are Costco, Target and some restaurants near the hotel. The life function is not bad, and the service staff at the hotel counter are friendly.

The hotel is less than 20 minutes' drive from San Francisco International Airport. If you want to be closer to the airport, "Crowded Plaza Foster City-San Mateo" is a good choice for accommodation.

PSA: THERE WERE BED BUGS in Room 319 where we just stayed from Wed March 29,2023 - Sat April 1,2023. All the airport staff and flight attendants stay at this hotel so it's a rotating door of travelers. When we woke up Saturday morning, we found a live adult female bed bug crawling on the towel of the bathroom floor. When we lifted the bath towel we found two more dead adult bed bugs. Then we tore apart the mattress and found a nymph that was engorged with blood. I am a reasonable person and honestly understand these things happen, so this review is not as much about the bed bugs as much as the unreal customer service from the hotel and General Manager Enree. We took photos of the bed bugs and captured them in a glass, which the hotel required us turn over to them. They told us we could not get a refund on that day because we would need to go through Expedia (which was fine). However, after returning home and calling Expedia, the hotel is now saying they cannot match up our photos with the room, when they literally are still holding onto the actual specimens that we captured in a glass and gave to them. Enree is also implying that we probably brought or planted the bugs because their pest inspection company "didn't find any more bed bugs in that room" and he can only speak from "facts and proof" and reiterated that our pictures (which are zoomed in) "can't be matched to the hotel, " and tried to gaslight us that this is just our "side of the story" when even Expedia backed us up that the photos match the hotel bathroom floor. We have been on the phone for FOUR hours with the hotel and Expedia, talked to the GM twice on the phone, and still have not been given a full refund of our stay. Apparently, photos and live captured bed bugs don't meet the level of proof that is required for this hotel.

The wifi internet at executive tower is up and down, as a business traveler this experience is really frustrating, hopefully the management would make it right sooner.

Convenient location by Bridgepoint shopping center, helpful and friendly staff (the front desk whipped out a takeout menu from a nearby restaurant faster than Google when asked about late night food options). The fitness center has nice equipment, and they have a solid breakfast buffet with good variety. The food was fresh and the servers were very attentive. Great stay overall

A very pretty hotel. We attended a family gathering/party hosted in the hall downstairs. Everything was spacious and clean and the staff for the hotel were all very nice. We loved the dine in breakfast in the mornings and the water features as well. Plus they have a bar inside the hotel, I did not check that out but some of our family did and they had a good time. Our room was clean and updated so no complaints there. All around a very decent hotel to host events and stay if you have people coming out of town.

Fair price, slightly outdated decor and amenities. Some of the staff were lovely, others were not so much. Probably will not choose to stay again considering the number of other hotels nearby.

Very terrible guest service process! A malfunction in the room and try to change another one. Instead deliver new key to me, but let me pull all my luggage for no meaning round trip. Not saying have to get a compensation or what, but I don’t even have a apologize for my all inconvenience.

Sad and outdated, the rooms smell like old smoke and all furniture is old and beat up.
The team here is very nice though.

I have been a long-term patron of the IHG group, including the Crowne Plaza, and have enjoyed staying at hotels in the group over the last 30+ years. My stay, earlier this week, however, has forced me to reconsider a lot.

First, the positives. The hotel is quite old but conveniently located. In a part of the world where traffic is a constant worry, it offers quick and easy access to the freeway (50m drive). Their in-house restaurant is decent, and there is ample free parking.

However, the combination of average customer service and inferior maintenance services left me very underwhelmed with my stay.

Coming off a 16-hr flight in the afternoon, I wanted to take a shower and hit the sack. The problem - no hot water. I thought it must be a momentary glitch, took a cold shower and went to sleep. Next morning — cold water again. Called reception to ask for help. No one picked up. Had to go downstairs for breakfast after another cold shower.

Went to reception before leaving for work and instead of solving the problem, they (1) told me I should have called from the room, and (2) wanted to teach me how to turn the tap to get hot water. Extracted a promise they would fix the problem and left. Came back late that day to find hot water restored. Great!

Tried hot water the next morning - same problem. Called reception - no response. Took another cold shower and complained more forcefully.

Came back that evening - no hot water. Marched down to the reception but they kept insisting hot water service was working in the old room. FINALLY, after more back and forth, got the room changed. Took my first warm shower on the final evening before flying out.

I like the convenience that the hotel - and IHG — offers, but something tells me customer satisfaction is just not a priority anymore.

A very decent hotel for the area. Very helpful staff and service. Gym is great open 24 hours and beds were very comfy. I overall enjoyed my stay here. Some bad notes included the room was a bit stuffy and smelled strange as there was no openable windows, the laundry machines were old and did not work some of the time I was there.
