Cruise America RV Rental and Sales

We rented a RV here. The process of pick up and return was okay, the staff wasn’t friendly.

I was grateful to get a rental from CruiseAmerica for my trip to Burning Man. They have recognized that this is a worthy customer base, and they seem to have really refined the process for picking up, signing contracts and dropping off the RV. I was impressed by the efficient customer service and I do plan to rent again.

Great service, RV was in fantastic shape, and we were in and out the door super fast, both picking up and delivering. Pretty amazing considering how slammed they were! Only wish is that they had told us that the hitch was locked so we didn't have to come back the next day to get it unlocked in order to add a bike rack, but we weren't charged the per day fee to unlock it, so I can't really argue too much with that.

For once, got an amazing experience at this place. Thanks a lot to the agent who helped. The vehicle was terrible, as usual, but the agent did the right thing to help us alleviate the pain that is more fundamental to this terribly misguided company that lost its soul. Thank you for having some employees with the right values that hopefully with save this company from an obvious and painful death.

We had an AWESOME ROAD TRIP EXPERIENCE!
Manager Ravi of their Newark office welcomed us in his office and took care of our needs during the pickup. Ruel did the unit orientation superbly well.
We were given well maintained and very good condition 30ft RV which my son named it TUCKER. We had no trouble with TUCKER.
We visited national parks Yosemite, Kings Canyon Sequoia, Joshue Tree Park, Grand Canyon, and Bryce Canyon as well. We stayed in Salt Lake City for the Usana 30th Anniversary Global Convention and proceeded to Lake Tahoe. It was a very memorable trip with TUCKER.

Ms Elaiza took care of our drop off process and whoa, simple as a piece of cake. It just took us around 10mins to go with the return process.
For sure, we will be back soon for another interstate trip with Cruise America.

Super fast, friendly help. Clean vehicle, easier to drive than expected (kind of like driving a truck!) Very comfortable. Will definitely do this again!

This company has been the worst travel experience I ever had.
They made no effort in preparing the car. All of the kitchen items where given in a plastic bag with knifes forks unprotected in it. The plates where still wet but had some kind of mold on it, that never came off during the 16 days trip. They did not check the car before delivering. So the dump hose very completely destroyed and had been so for a long time. This resulted in a 100 miles detour, to Phoenix, where we waited more than an hour to get a new one.
The “30 minutes” introduction to the car lasted 5 minutes. Despite being the only customer.
I will not recommend this company or use it again.

Super nice Van, with easy pickup. We blew a tire and got help very quickly while the zero liability insurance covered without us having to do anything

Our family rented a 25’ Motorhome for spring break. The service and overall expectations of the Newark facility was great. Plenty of inventory, easy access off the freeway and a very pleasant start and end to the rental experience. We rented the motorhome for 6 nights and came back one day early. Motorhome ran and drove fine. Our fresh water pump did stop working after the first night limiting us to only full hook up sites the remainder of the trip. Also the shower head broke off it’s hose the last night. The Newark team was pleasant to work with around these inconvenient mishaps and credited us back a night for the trouble no questions asked. Overall a great family trip and experience. Also one of the few rental facilities that allow for you to leave your personal vehicle on site free of charge. Site is gated and security available so nothing to worry about there.
