Crunch Fitness - Santa Rosa reviews
16This gym has nice new equipment and a wide range of equipment. The showers need some attention. One shower head is loose in the wall and another shower the control does not work. It does get l insanely packed peak gym hours.but mornings and weekend are not to bad
I can tell the owner truly cares about giving customers a quality experience, however this gym is OK at best.
There are not enough machines, and the machines themselves are not the best.
Equipment is never where it should be- instead it can usually be found lying around the weight room.
There are no towels or rags to clean equipment after use- instead they have paper towel dispensers, each with one spray bottle.
Place is packed all day 7 days a week can’t get a machine to save your life. Don’t recommend this gym.
Tried to come here using our active and fit direct memberships when visiting Santa Rosa. They would not let us in even though it's included in our membership! Told us we would need to buy day passes. Luckily Stan Bennett's set us up for the day. The whole point of active and fit for us is because we are nomadic and usually only in a place for a few days at a time. We have never had this problem anywhere else.
This gym smells dirty right as you walk in. It’s always packed and people don’t respect your space. I was using the squat rack and when I went to the bathroom I came back and some guy was deadlifting with the bar I was using and moved my STUFF to the side. When I told him I was using it he didn’t care and told me to use the other one because he already set up his weights. 0/10 gym and it is ALWAYS PACKED. You definitely never feel comfortable with that much people especially if they don’t respect simple gym rules.
For anyone signing up for a membership through the Active and Fit Direct program, dont delete your fitness card. I visited Crunch fitness back in February to check it out, and I guess they signed me up for a 3 day trial (even though I didn't want it). Then in August I get an email at work saying they will partially reimburse me if I sign up for a gym membership. I went to the gym on August 1 with the paper work from the work program (active and fit direct). The people behind the desk at Crunch took the paper and type something on their computer. They hand me the membership card. I'm confused it went so quickly and they didn't ask me to sign any forms. I asked them if i had to sign anything and they said no. I went in the next day, scanned the card and everything went through. I figured everything was fine. I went in today and scan my card, and the guy says that I am not a member and that I was not allowed in the gym anymore. This took me by surprise, but only a little bit. I explained my side of the story, but he was sticking to his professional stance of "you're not allowed here anymore". After some back and forth he asked for a confirmation email. I didn't get one from Crunch when I signed up, but I still had my work program confirmation email. So I showed it to him. He then takes that info, puts it in the computer and asks me to sign some stuff.
I get that the guy is doing his job, but I am paying for a membership, so it didn't feel great that Crunch was willing to kick me out of their gym without finding out my side of the story.
Can get busy, machines. Equipment always works but they don't really clean well. Tons of dust in the vents of machines that prohibit air flow
The place smells bad. Crunch-o-meter needs to be calibrated it’s supposedly always light and it never is
For the price you pay it's an alright gym. Kinda of small so when it's busy it can get pretty crammed in there. The trainers seem like they enjoy there jobs and seem like they try hard to connect with there clients. The locker room/bathrooms are usually clean.
I enjoyed going here while I did. There is a nice variety machines and I enjoyed their classes also. I stopped going due to covid.
I love the location of gym, pricing and so happy that it's always clean. The customer service representatives are always nice and very helpful. I also like the wide range of groups of classes. My favorite is zumba with Jaime. When you are here you, you only sparkle ️
The manager is incredibly rude. This place is run like a boys club. If you are a woman looking for a gym to feel comfortable and safe while working out please consider finding a new gym.
Great place. You don't have to pay alot to workout. Get in get out get on with your life.
It is nice place to workout for every age cheap price and very clean I highly recommend for everyone
Won't let postal workers use bathroom. Horrible community service. Only come in to deliver mail but not use the bathroom. The manager is rude and does not support the post office.
I liked the gym in general. It is in a good location, easily accessible with plenty of parking. The gym, as well as the bathroom/locker area was very clean. There is a good selection of weights and equipment. I just happen to go during a time that they are generally pretty busy. So that is just a personal preference type of thing. The staff were great, very friendly, welcoming, and helpful. I think that once I find a time not so busy I will enjoy working out here more.
