Crywolf Inc reviews
16Topnotch tech support! I had 3 systems needing updating from 2009 OS to the current OS. Very complex task requiring the tech to coordinate with me and solve compatibility issues, among other challenges. All was accomplished in a professional and expert manner.
I made the mistake of buying an "internet special" (cheap) battery for my MacBookPro and started noticing problems within a few weeks to a month. I took the MacBook into Crywolf and they carefully diagnosed it, ran tests, sold me decent battery, and it is still running, 2 years later, with no problems.
I have been going to Crywolf for years and the service has always been impeccabile and outstanding! Congratulations to technician Gale A.
And to all the other guys that work there! They are all super professional!
I was about to $1,400.00 to Apple to fix my MacBook Pro, instead I paid $175.00 to Crywolf:)
I fixed my keyboard for MacBook Pro.
Apple service is awful compared to Crywolf. Thank you!
Called Apple for quote on a screen replacement they said it would be $500 and I could take it to cry wolf their authorized service center and that would be the price. I went there and the said the price would be $840 more than $300 difference. Will never take anything to these freaks. Local computer repair is $800
Brought in a 2017 iMac that gave up the ghost while trying to upload Big Sur. This team took over and found the problem quickly, then offered a good deal on a replacement hard drive. The new HD is ten times faster than the old one and I couldn't be happier. Better than an Apple Store.
My spacebar on my Mac was broken. Apple was going to take weeks to get into and I had so much homework to finish. Took it into Crywolf and they were AMAZING. They sanitized everything after each customer they helped. They were friendly and honest. They found out my Mac was still under warranty and fixed it for free. It only took a couple days and I had my Mac back in mint condition. The owner fix it herself and called me when it was ready. They also updated my software and cleaned my computer. So happy I came here.
Cry Wolf Computer Service and Sales is "the" go to place for full line Macintosh sales and service. The crew is always helpful, is working very hard to fill the gap left by the closed Apple Stores in San Diego County. Very clear estimates and superb communications regarding your machine and questions. I bought my new iMac from Cry Wolf because I like having professionals set up, install and check out big investments. As I write this, I do not know whether or not they service other systems, too. I highly recommend them without reservation.
Very Rude. 0 if I could, My daughter locked her self out of her Iphone. They didn't even try to help or make suggestions just said No, but made sure to also say Apple can't help me either. Very Rude
I was sent to Crywolf by Apple. It was amazing From the moment I called and spoke to Lauren until my repair was complete. Nancy did my repair and kept in touch with me as she progressed. Cost was not terrible. They have my trust and I’ll Be going back for my Apple repair needs!
I recently brought my Macbook Pro into Crywolf for a keyboard repair, and they went above and beyond every expectation. They were able to fix my computer within a few days, and Greg followed up to let me know about a screen issue that was covered under AppleCare (Something that probably would've caused more issues/cost down the line!) Incredibly responsive, professional, and I couldn't be happier with the repair. Computer is running like new!
Fantastic service at Crywolf. My iMac got fixed here and now it is like brand new. It is operated by professional and honest people. Highly recommend!
My iMac needed some warranty repair and Crywolf proved to be a capable partner to help solve my issues. When the original part from Apple was defective, they went out of their way to make the second repair easy and pain free. I will definitely be using them for all of my Apple service needs!
In the past I had done business with these guys a few times when they were repairing Apple machines. The last time, which was probably a few years ago, something about the mannerisms rubbed me the wrong way. Perhaps it was the straight forward, blunt way I was spoken to, and I was just asking questions trying to figure out the best way to take care of our Apple computer needs. I had thought I would patronize a local business, instead of Apple (which has always been good).
Today, I called to see about replacing a Mac Air, and replacing a Macbook Pro with an iMac that could perform well to run Final Cut Pro, Logic Pro X and maybe even Superior Drummer 3. Didn't get the name of the person who spoke to me, but he was pretty matter of fact and straight forward; probably what most would call, patronizing. His last statement was that he didn't have time for this (talking to me) and that if I wanted to order machines from him I can meet with him and we can take care of it then.
Hopefully you have a better experience. I won't be going back, and it probably doesn't even matter. If I hadn't had the similar experience a few years ago I could've attributed his behavior to stress, and blame it on COVID-19. Sad. If you know exactly what you want and need, and you prefer to support local businesses, your experience probably won't be such a disappointment. Enjoy!
Everyone at Crywolf is incredibly welcoming, helpful, and kind! Highly recommend them. I have an old Macbook and when I got in touch with Apple support they immediately quoted me over $800 for the repair. I took it to Crywolf and they fixed it up for a fraction of that. My computer hasn't run this well in years. Bonus points for their thorough COVID precautions.
