Restaurant Cultivo reviews
15Bread was delish, buff cauliflower was a bit spicy for me, I don’t like blue cheese so I would have liked ranch. Short rib pasta was good but not parpadelle, it was a rigatoni. They were out of Pinot noir so I got the cab. Would go again for the bread.
We had a large party for lunch and Cultivo accommodated us with no problem. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. Staff and managers are very nice and went above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience. We ordered 4 different pizzas, the kale salad (add crispy shrimp!) and the bastone appetizer. Everything was amazing. Highly recommended.
Outstanding pie. Chewy, deeply fragrant crust, simple margarita, swapped oregano for basil. Competes with pies in Italy. Perfectly overdone. Absolutely delicious. Place has a great chill vibe. Nice people. Go Ukiah ️
Delicious dessert menu. However, it was the very flavourful Shrimp Po’Boy Sandwich that will have me returning… that and the excellent service and over experience!
We sat upstairs. Very pleasant. Great service. Excellent wine and beer list but not a full bar. Background music was too loud. Highly recommend the short rib pasta and the frito misto.
The Salmon was cooked to perfection! Everything was so savory. Will definitely return to try more items off their menu.
Great place for pizza. Not for fine dining. Lack of servers made it hard to get prompt refills, order change or info. The Saffron papperdell (sp) with Seared scallops was delightful, and the portions were big. Don't forget to order their bread braid. No desserts, sadly. Because it was my birthday. But it was a good time in general.
Frequently travel north from San Francisco, we always make a stop here! 10/10 food and drinks!
Love the changing menu items, also!
Service is slow. After we order we wait moore than 20 min to start eating. Roster chicken and a chicken salad.the food is good
It was really good. The Ox tail was exceptional and the shrimp and noodles which were spicy with a twist of Cajun were so very good. The pizzas are good there as well.
Unfortunately I will not be supporting this business by eating here anymore.
I have eaten here multiple times in the past 2 years and anytime I get any seafood, sandwich or breadsticks I get severe food born illness (3 times in total now) or the dough is undercooked. I know a few people who have also gotten food borne illness from this restaurant or have been served cold raw food and when they ask for the chef to cook the food to a safe consumable temperate or so its not raw they get super unprofessional and offended. Well cook the food correctly then. I want to like the food but someone in the kitchen isn't following clean food safe hygiene practices or something isn't being stored at a food safe temperature. Eat and proceeded with caution.
We really enjoyed Cultivo. A cozy place with a wood fired pizza oven. I had roast chicken and roasted potatoes. The chicken skin was crisp and the meat moist. Well seasoned skin. Potatoes were creamy inside with crusty outside. Perfect. My wife had oxtail pasta. Very tasty. My one recommendation would be a slight sauce thickener, maybe mounted with butter so it clings a bit more to the food. The sauces were tasty just a little thin. We tried the pizza Margherita. Fresh tomato sauce. Really fragrant basil. Tasted great. I do think a Margherita should have a crisp, thin crust so I recommend they look into that (Ken Forkish has great NY and Neapolitan crust recipes I use at home.) Service was good and timely. Friendly staff. Check this one out. You’ll like it!
Loved the roasted cauliflower pizza, the orange creme brulee and the Cooperage brewery sour beer of the moment. Fantastic and attentive service!
Cozy 2 story indoor seating. Our server, Josh was fantastic even though it was incredibly busy. (One of the only restaurants in town that is open on Mondays)
It was busy so our mains took a little bit but our drinks stayed full and we had good conversation.
Had a wonderful dinner tonight with top of the line service. I was very impressed with our server Treaston and how he handled the entire restaurant with ease, a friendly smile and great recommendations. We had awesome interactions with Pete and Katie as well, who made me feel welcomed as my one year old gave a whole performance. I did not feel rushed or like a burden for having a chatting, silly toddler. Cultivo has a great atmosphere and delicious food. Our breadsticks, salad and fungi pizza were delicious! Thanks Cultivo
