Don’t get fooled by good reviews for this. They do not want to serve client at all even you waiting to meet agent for more than an hour. So waisting time being waiting. And they don’t care this client would want to get volve or not.

This was the best car buying experience of my life so far. The staff was friendly, patient and helpful. I got an amazing deal on the XC40 Recharge and had clear communication and no pressure to buy immediately from sales. I came back the day after my visit and was done with my car deal in about 30 minutes including the DMV paperwork! I highly recommend working with Arlene and the rest of the amazing staff there.

Excellent. My husband and I leased our first Volvo yesterday and are blown away by the experience we had with the Culver City dealership team. Especially, Juan Zuniga, who is a delight to do business with. Juan answered every question we had (of which there were many!), kept us updated on the delivery date and even arranged a loaner for us when it wasn’t in on time (due to shipping delays from Sweden). Juan was very communicative and made the entire process pleasant. (And my new XC40 Inscription is gorgeous and so fun to drive!)

Julio Lopez in the leasing department was also great and had us out the door in no time. Julio offered interesting insight into the leasing market that will provide very useful when we trade in my husband’s Acura RDX later this year.

After having poor and frustrating experiences with the BMW and Audi dealerships in Santa Monica, we will be doing business again with the awesome crew at Volvo of CC!

I did not have a happy experience with Volvo this time. They did finish my car in a timely manner. After driving my car for about 10 minutes I noticed that a message appeared allowing me that my tire pressure was low. I returned the car to get that fixed and after driving my car for another 10 minutes or so the same message appeared again. I was told that I need to have a tire checked to see if there's some kind of underlying condition going on. I'm just feeling very frustrated at this time cuz I have to take the car back to have that taken care of which I would have hoped that they could have looked at the tire after bringing it back the first time.

Culver City Volvo Service Department: No Bueno.

If you want a service department, that will damage your vehicle (or feign damage), then try to charge you for it, you have come to the right place.

I arranged for the Culver City Volvo valet service to pick up my vehicle from my work site for a battery replacement and oil change. My service representative, David Castro, informed me that there was a recall on all four door locks that could be completed free of charge. I agreed to the service. Prior to this service, during the entire three years I have had my vehicle, I never had any issues what-so-ever with any of my door locks or a problem with any of my doors closing properly.

Several days after the completion of service, I contacted David Castro to let him know that something was wrong with my driver side door. I did not get a response back. I contacted him two more times, with no responses received. I finally called to ask for the service manager’s contact information. I got the information for the Fixed Operations Director, Alex Flores. I sent Alex an email message explaining that my door was not seated properly anymore and that the driver side door handle was loose (the metal insides of the door lock were starting to show).

Alex informed me that David Castro made me aware of the fact that my door handle was broken prior to them performing service and that I denied getting the handle repaired. What? Alex included a PDF copy of the invoice for me to look at.

I opened the PDF attachment and read in all caps, “WHILE PERFORMING RECALL RS9978 THE TECHNICIAN NOTICED INNER DOOR LOCKS DISTURBED. 3 POINT SOCKET S[C]REWS MISSING FROM THE FRONT LEFT DOOR. ” This notation was above another section that stated, “50079 ESTIMATE ON BRACKET PARTS AND LABOR $398 PLUS TAX. PRICES ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE BUT VALID TILL 06/30/2021”.

Culver City Volvo provided a link for me to access my service invoice at any time. Once I paid for my battery replacement and oil change service, however, the link was broken and gave me an error message every time I tried to open it subsequently. Fortunately, I took screenshots of my initial invoice and I still have them. Here is what is important about this situation:

• Culver City Volvo claims my car door handle was damaged prior to them commencing service, but my car was picked up by Volvo’s valet service and that person took pictures and videos of my car prior to taking it from my work site and there was no damage noted.

• The invoice copy I received via email was doctored. On the invoice I received initially, there was NOTHING AT ALL about a technician noticing “disturbed locks” (what is that supposed to mean anyway?).

• Lastly and most importantly, the service department wanted to charge me $398 for the labor and replacement of some sort of bracket to fix my door handle. I was so disgusted and untrusting of Culver City Volvo’s Service Department from the way they handled this situation that I decided to take my vehicle to a non-dealership, authorized Volvo repair establishment. 2 Guys from Sweden (excellent service, btw—located near the corner of Venice & Sawtelle), repaired my door for free, stating that only a screw was loose. No parts were missing, no parts were broken, and I didn’t need a $398 bracket/repair. Was this whole situation just designed to scam me out of $400?

All of that said, this is my experience. I am not here to tell anyone what to do with their time, vehicle, or money. I am just telling you that I never want to Culver City Volvo to touch my vehicle again. I am disappointed and outdone by these unscrupulous, time-wasting behaviors and practices. I have reported my experience to the Volvo corporate office and I have wiped my hands of this service department.

I started at Audi and felt pressured but also cast aside. I had the exact opposite experience at Culver City Volvo. Everyone my wife and I worked with was very nice, genuine, didn't pressure us, and we ended up leasing a car we love at a very reasonable price!

One of the best buying/leasing experiences I have had. Tony was able to get me the exact car I wanted with the best deal i was able to find anywhere. I filled out a quick application online and then Victor came to drop the car off the next day. All the paperwork was there. He walked me through everything. He was masked, gloved and practiced all of the necessary COVID precautions I would have liked. He walked me through the vehicle from outside the car. The service by Victor was the best I have ever had from a car walk-through and delivery. Would highly recommend both Tony to get the best deal possible and Victor from a service/delivery standpoint.

One of the worst experiences trying to buy a car. I found a deal on TrueCar and tried to contact Culver City Volvo through TrueCar to arrange an appointment but no one got back. I called them directly and a sales associate Michael was surprised to hear that the xc60 was offered to me at that price, he was saying that it is 10k more than what was offered on TrueCar. Surprised, I sent him all the details of my TrueCar deal and he promised to get back with more information in 20 mins. More than an hour passed and he got back to me telling that the car is definitely not available for such a price and offered me no explanation why. I asked to talk to the sales manager and he gave me a number that was basically a generic sales number that went to a voicemail every time I called. Eventually, after trying to get through for hours, I got hold of Maria and i explained the situation, providing all the necessary proofs of the price I got from TrueCar. She then asked me to wait for a callback, again. When Maria called back she told me that she doesn't know what happened with TrueCar pricing and that she will reach out to them to "fix" it. When I asked for any extra information why was I wasting my time doing research on TrueCar and trying to arrange virtual "appointments" Maria could not give me any answers, basically saying "it is what it is" and wanted to hang up on me. I then asked what other cars are available she told to call another sales associate or to go to the website to get this information! She told me that she had other customers she had to deal with - I was not even considered a "customer"! When I asked to arrange an appointment Maria told me that I can call their generic sales number to do it, she was not interested in providing help! She finally hung on me, saying thanks, you can go to another dealer, how nice!
I am still trying to arrange an in-store appointment with them, stuck being held on an endless phone call. After reading all the positive reviews and guarantees on TrueCar that I can expect an 1 hour in-and-out buying experience, I wish that I never started with this dealer, what an absolute waste of time.

We visited the Culver City Mazda as part of the Costco Auto Program. I found the experience with the sales team to be delayed and lacking interest (which is rare). We were given a wrapped in plastic new CX5 to test drive with little to no explanation of the features/specs/etc. It was hard to gauge the comfort and feel with all the plastic. At the end of the test drive, we waited some more to find someone to take back the test vehicle, after making myself known, finally someone came by, offered the costco price and that was it. No real interest in earning our business at this dealership. We ended up buying the CX5 at a different mazda dealership.

Wanted to come test drive a car, so i called ahead and spoke to someone in sales. I asked if I would need an appointment or if I could just come in right away, and was told to just come on in, they’re not too busy. I arrived 10 minutes later, and the front desk person told me I should have made an appointment - no salespeople were available. Pretty unhappy, needless to say, to waste 45 minutes of my time so stupidly.

I will only drive Volvo. This is my 7th Volvo with this dealership because they make the experience so easy but yet exciting. Because of my history with this dealership my paperwork is already prepared since I have a hectic work schedule. When I come in for service I always have a loaner car or renter available. It's just a great experience and they put 100% in taken care of you. Martin in service is like family and make sure after 16 years I'm still a valued customer. I recommend you drive a Volvo and get it from Culver City Volvo.

Sincerely,

A True Volvo Lover

Six months after we bought a certified pre owned volvo from them- both internal and external batteries died- they didn't take any responsibility for it nor offered any share of financial burden. Almost $800 cost.

Today
We were rushed to schedule an inspection at their shop due to an alert saying a quart of oil is missing. They didn't mention a $200 fee for inspection not on the phone and not in the email confirmation (they did mention a $63 charge for changing the wipers)
both my wife and I took a day off so we can drop the car there and drive back with our other car. Our baby was with us as well. When we got there, they announced that the inspection would be $200. I think it's not cool to only do that when you get there and don't have much of a choice.then they say if you do the repair with us (almost $600) we will deduct the 200.

Fantastic experience taking delivery of my CPO 2018 Volvo XC90 R Design. Tony, Arlene and the entire Culver City Volvo team worked to make this a smooth and trouble free experience. Don't waste your time with the other Volvo dealers in the area, Culver City is making deals that can't be beat anywhere in LA County. Tony and the team are serious about earning your business. No games, just solid numbers that make sense. 2018 The XC 90 is amazing and so is Culver City Volvo
