We have a 6 year old, and I remembered this place from when I was a kid.we did the Junior Explorer Program (a MUST do with kids), they get a neat backpack and do activities throughout, keeps them engaged, if they complete them all they get a badge and certificate.
The earthquake simulator is so fun, the planetarium is amazing. I was even impressed with the aquarium, swamp, even though we've been to Monterey Bay. The food in the cafe was pretty decent too (though a little spendy). If you have younger kids, skip the exploratorium and bring them to this little gem - parking is easy too, though expensive (expected for CA).

Only the outside is open to see the animals, inside is still closed because of Covid, but still a lot of fun to get your kids out the house and you always learn something new. Also there’s like a six dollar fee to go into the premises the bonus is that there’s a couple of fun parks nearby you can take advantage of.

Great outing for young children. Plenty to explore. Shame there’s not a cafe or eating option. More family friendly bathrooms would also help.

Accessible and engaging for children and their parents/grandparents. It was easy to see the animals and the docents were friendly and informative. Spent less time in the other science areas but definitely want to check that out next time. This place is great - a number of hands-on activities for all ages (I saw 2 year olds totally engaged), while older kids will enjoy the movies and animal presentations. The outdoor area is delightful for a picnic in nice weather. Overall, a well-conceived and nicely done space.

I've been a member for about 7 years, it's a great place for Children and people of all ages. I really enjoy bringing children, because they are learning so much without realizing it because they're having so much fun!

Great place to experience the history of aviation and fun place for youngsters to learn while having fun with the many hands on tools and actual screens to view.

Great for toddlers with exhibits on their eye level. Watch otters and bobcats being fed. See tarantula up close, spot owls, eagles, and vultures hiding in ths trees. Lots of touchy feely exhibits to occupy the little ones. Nearby picnic tables and playground.

I'm gonna go 3 stars here because I wasn't killed or eaten. But, that being said I really couldn't call this place a "center", as much as it's my 2nd uncle's house, the backyard would easily fit all of the animals in here, most of which are already in my backyard right now. Lol. The otters stole the show and we're worth the price of admission.

We are members here, the exhibits are very nice for small kids age 4-8. There are a lot of smaller children running around which can get pretty crazy at busy times. Special events are too crowded and not well organized. We came to the bubbles and rainbows day for Pride and it was jam packed with not enough events for the kids to be able to see. All the museum staff were friendly but it doesn’t make up for the facility.

A great little science museum that is with visiting more than once.
Word of warning - AWFUL AWFUL food options - extra slow junk food, processed meat, very little choice and no healthy options. Pack a lunch or take a pleasant stroll to Coyote Point restaurant nearby - also slow but very pleasant, great service and lots of food options.

We love CuriOdyssey - we ended up becoming members.

It was awesome in the morning for my 4 and 2 year-olds, but when the field trip kids (probably 7 or 8 years old) arrived, it was a little too crowded and noisy for us. It is a great little place for kid exploration and learning.

Wonderful park! Many different activities going on in different areas of this big Park. Came here for a wedding, and amazed of how good of a Wedding venue it is. Will come back sometimes for picnic/camping or something.

Love coming here with the kids. It does get crowded over the weekend though. So many exhibits and animals to see. Very hands-on and fun.

CuriOdyssey has dozens of indoor science exhibits to engage kids and a delightful outdoor zoo. Make sure you don't miss the astoundingly playful river otters and the various shows and feedings throughout the day. They're typically every hour. I take my kids there every month or two and they both absolutely love every moment!

Very good place to take the be kids, they get to know science or get interested in science. Parking could be an issue, I was lucky to find one close to the entrance.
