Curry Up Now reviews
18More than food, it was the service that is the reason for low rating. After ordering the food, we had to wait for nearly 45 minutes before the food is served.
Today, I had an opportunity to visit Curry up now restaurant. I had the worst service ever in my life. We ordered multiple dishes. But, we didn’t receive all of them and had to leave after a wait of 1 hour. I would not want to come to place again. Even to make an order, we had to wait for 30 minutes. The food was also not great. All I can say is that it was not an experience I expected.
Casual seating, fast service and open late!
Items to try: deconstructed samosa, angry idli manchurian, vada pav, tikka bowls
And absolutely ‘Must try’ Dal Lentil Halwa!
Dum Biryani wasn’t that good.
Updated review:
Food was ok. Desi hot is just chilli sauce poured on the dish. Other hot is not spicy.
Ask for no corn for Fried rice, if you prefer. There will be lot of corns.
I really did not like the food. The saag paneer had way too much ginger and excessive masala. It was way off. It was like some saag in masala instead. I am a Punjabi and grew up eating this, so I know what authentic saag paneer should taste like. That's what I came for and returned hugely disappointed. The ambience was nice, for which I gave an extra star, but that is no saving grace if the food is not at par.
The Hakka noodles here is one of the worst things we have ever had. The noodles were very undercooked and smelled weird. It was inedible. We had to throw it all out.
Great food, been so long since I have had good Indian food. Definitely go again, and again.

Good food. It’s very quick to get food and the flavors are great. Good options for vegetarians and they sometimes have gluten free naan.
It is a cute and quiet place to hang out or work. The Vada Pav was good, and the free house hot chai was to die for. They also gave two parle-g biscuits with tea
Tried the Lamb Burrito. It tartare fine. The burrito didn’t have other ingredients than rice mostly. The meat content was little less than expected.
My stomach got upset and the rice was hard. It looked like it was microwaved many times before serving. Wouldn't be here again.
Very bad service and rude servers! Please hire people who actually care for their customers
The service was really bad - right from getting a table to settling the bill. The server was rude when we gave him our feedback (he asked!).
The sexy fries were tasty but chicken 69 didn’t have any flavor.
Definitely not going back.
We did a takeout from here. The food quantity was very less, with the quality of the food also being below average. The kachori chat was literally the indian store dry kachori packed with aloo-onion mixture. Gobi manchurian was half-cooked and again below par.
Our worst dining experience in the Bay Area in 3 years. Really badly managed, and remarkably unapologetic about it. Quite surprised about this experience, as the rest of the reviews are really good.
Nice Indian fusion food and drinks.
Limited tabels and bar counter is excellent Very slow service when it's full
