16 Pharmacy review: Friday is really busy. If you want it same day, you'll need to pick somewhere less busy. This place is swamped. The pharmacy thrives as a weekend pickup, for which it's super useful. They will produce your script if you don't mind waiting in the store. There is always work to do on their tremendous backlog as this is probably the most used pharmacy in Redding. It's hard to have patience so if you're like me, choose another pharmacy or use this location on the weekend.
Retail review: Average. Not super good, not super bad. No complaints but can say they are friendly and helpful.a rare charm considering the rough characters that frequent the nearby streets.
I came in with my kids to get some snacks. The employees were Nice and helpful. I recommend CVS and will definitely be back!:)
Kind and helpful staff working very hard in a stressful and demanding environment. I can't thank them enough for everything that they do. Many of the things people are complaining about are simply out of the pharmacy's control or not even their fault to begin with.
If you're on hold over an hour one time that's considered pretty bad in my opinion and as a local I would love to give it 5 stars but I just cannot.
The customer service given to me at this establishment makes me want to just puke right in their faces everyone a particularly with this company should be ashamed to even exist may God have mercy on their souls!

Every time CVS pharmacy always tells me that they have some thing all the other pharmacies always end up telling me that they don’t they’re hard-working people they really are. They deserve more credit than what everybody gives them.courteous, kind, and prompt
After waiting several hours my prescription finally got sent to CVS. After waiting in line I was greeted with a warm welcome and a smile by Belle who said it wasn’t ready but that they would call my name and when they do to come up and wait off to the side. After my name was called she told the man who was next that she was going to assist me and then him. She assisted my quickly and I was on my way. Even though I was waiting for over 38 minutes. Just listening to her and her consistent, great customer service made the wait pleasant. So thanks Belle. You truely are a dying breed.
The supervisor, Alec, was great. Helped carry my groceries to my vehicle after dark. Excellent customer support makes all the difference.
Well there always a line there but the team that works behind the counter for the pharmacy is absolutely wonderful there patient and you can tell they’re overwhelmed but they handle it well
I wish I could give them zero stars! They have terrible customer service and they don't care. They ALWAYS screw up my medications. They tell me I have to contact my doctor for a refill when both my doctor and myself have papers that say I still have more refills. They tell me it's ready then when I should up they say it's not and it will be another 20 min wait. What the hell is wrong with these people.if my company didn't make me use them, I'd leave and never look bac

Not the quickest place. Convenient for location but lacks speediness.
Pharmacy is NOT recommended. They didn’t call me to tell me they couldn’t fill my prescription. Came in and they said maybe try back tomorrow? Or if I wanted, I could call other locations. So they made me call other pharmacy locations to see if they could fill my prescription? The other location said it would be filled by the time I came over and they shouldn’t have made me call!
I called the store this morning asking if they had a certain product in stock. The guy who answered said yes, so I drove across town to come in to the store only to find out it was NOT in stock. Thanks for wasting my time and gas. I would much rather you place me on hold while someone goes to confirm they do have it in stock. This is the only CVS store in town that doesn't offer pickup through their app, all of this could have been avoided
I have been to other CVS in the area and this one by far has the quickest and nicest staff.
If I could give a minus 4. I would. But it could be the manager doesn't have any control over the way this pharmacy is set up or even hiring inside CVS store. If true this is directed at Corporation top. This is one of largest National chains now. Multi Billion corporation. I only go here for prescriptions because The State of California medical insurance for this area for all employees, retired also, plus all counties, city employees under Public Employees Retirement System, plus all non teachers also was given to this Chain under a large insurance. It did hurt the business of other pharmacies in area. But my complaint is how this Corporation treats the sick and many elderly that must come into this pharmacy. Not fully separated from the store, only 4 chairs. Only 1 check out clerk, one to answer phones talk with doctors, 1 pharmacist, 1 to help fill orders, Those waiting standing in line right in aisles of store items so anyone shopping has to squeeze close to them. Guess social distancing isn't important? This area should have rows of chairs. And be set up at least 15 feet from Any other store items for sale.
I also feel whether you have your ID or even a prescription nbr, why is everything Only under your date of birth filing system then your name? Which the clerk has you say out loud of course everyone near you can hear this and if wanted to could make a note of it. Identify theft is a huge problem in CA. I don't have prescriptions anyone would want. Yet, But I sure want my identity protected for credit reasons. This corporation should use it's given ID insurance cards and photo ID we have. Not ask us to say birthdate out loud. Reminder one of wealthiest pharmacy corporation in US.
