CVS Pharmacy, Irvine CA

I am writing this review in place of an earlier one I had written regarding the pharmacy.

Since my bad bad experience, I had been contacted by their corporate office and later the store manager regarding my experience. There is nothing that can be done to change the past, but my experience with the manager and the efforts spent to speaking with me and addressing the situation made me feel like they really did care about their customers.

He was really personable and empathetic, and seemed genuinely concerned. I believe he made changes and improvements, which made me more than happy to return to his location.

I believe this 5 star review is more than deserving, since it actually takes effort and care to deal with a negative experience, more so than one that never had a hiccup or glitch. It really shows the character of a great store.

Make sure you ask them where the drug that you are buying is made. I bought Omeprazole, but later at home I noticed that it was made in India. The FDA banned several plants in India for a variety of quality issues. 55,000 bottles of generic Lipitor from a facility failed impurities testing.

There are generic drugs manufactured in the US and other advanced countries where the purity of the drug is more reliable. Of course CVS won't buy the better quality drug, they'll just buy the cheapest drug, consumers be damned!

Unorganised, understaffed and unprofessional. Go somewhere else if you can.

Too slow. If I didn't have to wait this would be five stars. But I write this review from their line, as every time I am in here it takes ages.

I usually have a hard time finding my favorite work pants (Jules and Leopold) at competitors but this Stein Mart carries many styles and sizes, making it easy.
