CVS Pharmacy, Westlake Village CA

This is the best pharmacy I have ever known. The pharmacist takes his time to help you and is very thorough and kind. The staff is amazing and very personable. Rosanna is a gem with her thorough research to find coupons to lower the price of medications.

Even though I could, the technician couldn't read the doctors handwriting on the prescription, nor could the phramacist. They needed to call the doctor, but were'nt willing to do so for 90 minutes and the doctor takes at lwlea 2 hours to return calls. I went next door to Costco's pharmacy, they asked me if I tried to use the prescription elsewhere and I said, "yes at CVS, but they couldn't read it". The pharmacist asked me which CVS and I said the one in Target. The pharmacist said well this prescription is pretty legible to me. It's sad how lazy the CVS pharmacy staff was. It was my first and last time I'll ever go to this CVS Pharmacy.

Absolutely terrible service. I am on medication for a chronic illness and am going out of country. I asked if there's a possibility for me to receive two of my prescription because I will need the next one before I come home.
The lady at the front desk proceeded to tell me I'm on MediCal and don't get any privileges like that. She then said I'm on MediCal and should not be able to go out of country because I'm in a low income bracket. I was in utter disbelief these word were coming out of her mouth.
When she found out I had a recent change in medication because my doctor determined the last one was not working she told me, "well you wouldn't have this problem if you didn't switch medications". The other prescription was a 90 day prescription. I proceeded to tell her how I have a chronic medical condition and sometimes certain medications don't work. She rolled her eyes and told me I can pay for the medication myself, not go out of country, or go without medication for my condition. The way she judged and reacted was inappropriate. I will never go here again.

I've been going to the CVS pharmacy in Westlake on Agoura Rd for the past 3 years but I have decided to switch to this CVS bc of the service. I came in yesterday having to fill 3 prescriptions and though they did not have all of them they were extremely helpful and NICE. I look forward to coming here again and give them credit for being so helpful and understanding.
