CVS Pharmacy, San Diego CA

Daniel at the Pharmacy must have had a bad day and his short man anger came out today. He started on a rant when I came up about cvs being a bad company who doesn't care or pay well so they're understaffed. He was yelling at me and everyone else in line saying they should switch Pharmacies and we are wasting our time coming here when there are so many other pharmacies near by. Daniel needs a chocolate milk and a tummy rub because he was pretty grumpy today.

I nearly always have some kind of issue picking up prescriptions from here - either they're not processed, they're out of stock, they needed renewal or had some kind of insurance issue and didn't tell me, or the line is just incredibly long due to being understaffed. To their credit most of the pharmacy staff who work here are quite cheerful and friendly, but I generally wouldn't suggest picking this location for regular prescription pick-ups.

They fill my prescriptions without my authorization and claimed my insurance. I tried around 20 times in the last week calling them but can never reach them.

In the pharmacy, behind a thick plastic barrier, you'll find the most cheerful, helpful, and all around awesome employee CVS has ever had the privilege to employ: Brenna. You can't miss her.she's the bright light at the back of the store who's singlehandedly flipping 3's into 5's.)

The. Worst. CVS. Ever. Takes forever to get anyone on the phone and then they hang up on you. Lines are long AF. I've been waiting over 2wks for an Rx and still nothing. Avoid this place at all costs.

My doctor sent 2 new prescriptions to the CVS pharmacy at 3151 University Ave in San Diego this morning. I went straight there and was told 1 of them would be ready in 1 hour. After 2.5 hours and after several checks with the pharmacy, they finally said that neither prescription would be ready until tomorrow afternoon! This is reprehensible and extremely unsatisfactory! To make a disabled person wait over 2.5 hours without a chair to sit in is despicable!

I love this CVS! Everyone is kind and helpful.
However, I walked in four times this last week to pick up my prescriptions. The line was so long; it hit the middle thoroughfare of the store. Three of the four times there was only one cashier.

I would have a better experience, specifically with the Pharmacy, if there were more staff to assist; so customers don't have to wait 30-60 min to pick up their prescriptions like me.

This is a great CVS store. Very large store, lots of parking and the sales associates are always very nice. The pharmacy is also terrific. Very helpful assistants and pharmacists and everyone works well to be effecient.

Why do you guys say 24h and it’s close before 12 am?
Pls put the correct time when Cvs closes

They have a lighted red sign that says open 24 hours. It’s only for prescriptions. I drove all the way here for nothing.
