Cyclery USA reviews
17I have been in the market for a SL6 Gen4 Trek Damone for a few months now. I called JAX Cycles where I bought my last Damone ALR. They were OK but work in strange ways (try to sell you accessories you don't need and a maintenance program that I purchased for $499 that wasn't worth $50 let alone $499). That's a story for another day. I did some serious research on the SL6 and found that The Cyclery Center had the bike I was looking for. I called and spoke to Justin. He was very polite, checked to make sure the bike was there and promised to hold it for me till I could get over to pick it up later that day. When I walked in the door he had the bike set aside and was ready for me, I didn't have to wait around. We picked out pedals and accessories and Justin added them to my bike and tested the whole bike while I stood there and pounded him with questions. He was very knowledgeable and I could see he had a passion for bikes and making sure things on the bike were perfect. It was and excellent buying experience, I am very satisfied with my purchase, the SL6 Gen 4 is a terrific bike and Justin's knowledge and actual riding experience help a lot during my questioning and purchase. When you walk into a bicycle shop and you know you are going to drop $5000 or more on a bike, you want to talk to someone who knows their stuff and Justin certainly did. To top it off, the bike was on sale and I got a small discount on my accessories (cup holders, pedals). Thank you for running a legit, professional bicycle store! There were no pressure sales or pressure to buy maintenance packages or accessories I didn't need. It was a nice down to earth buying experience. I will be back, that's for sure.
I've had them do a couple nuisance repairs for me (removing/installing tire inserts) and they seemed to be reasonable on price and repair times.
I just purchased the Trek Fuel Ex e for my wife, they did a great job of making sure the bike fit and that she was happy.
Some staff at this location are a little rigid and not so friendly. A staff member at the Rancho Cucamonga store had a bid of a argumentative tone when he insisted on bike size for my son. Although it was obvious that he was knowledgeable in his craft he needs to work on his approach and take the time to explain and educate customers why industry standards are essential and not resort to saying phrases such as "I've been doing this for 20+ years, I know what I'm talking about". Nevertheless I purchased a quality mountain bike of myself and family at each store and have never regretted it. Cyclery USA remains as the standard for the Inland Empire.
See my review I left in the survey - if you can - this is an excellent place to do business. They have a few of the elite bikes everyone has wanted since the pandemic. Hey I got mine - good luck to you.
Bob and the entire staff were extremely helpful on my two visits. July 3rd and July 9th. I bough two beach cruisers and 1 bike rack. Bob was so helpful, helped me and my wife pick the right bikes for ourselves at great prices. Never tried to oversell us anything we didn’t need. He did offer other options but we were happy with what we chose and Bob was very nice explaining the difference in those bikes we tried. Process was seamless, better than those target bikes I was thinking of buying. Would definitely come back for future purchases and services.
Had a wonderful experience when I brought me and my brothers bike in order to get serviced. They were able to finish the same day and enjoyed the bike ride back home when we picked it up! Definitely recommend this shop
I have a good experience for my first time at the shop with my kids they loved all the different bikes in there and the staff is very knowledgeable on bikes and taking care of them and fixing them also this will be my number one bike shop
Bob was AMAZING!
Very supportive with expert advice and recommendations.
Went out of his way to research SoCal league to facilitate sponsorship/benefits.
Expedited order/build to have bike race ready in time for a scheduled race.
Customer service was so amazing at Cyclery USA-RC that we chose to order bike from them instead of a shop I grew up with in LA recently acquired by TREK (Beverly Hills TREK) that I had initially reached out to.
Communication was clear - I asked a lot of questions and received a lot of helpful information. No one was pushy with sales - but gave sensible recommendations. Overall, a good experience.
The entire staff is very friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. Justin in particular was super helpful and his love for cycling is apparent and contagious. He was super thorough and made sure everything was perfect with my new bike before I took it home. I also appreciate how well the store is stocked and how quickly special orders are received.
Staff is very attentive to the needs of the customers and very knowledgeable about the products they sell. They explain in details if customers has questions about the products they offer. Service crew does an awesome job keeping the bikes in good working condition. Overall satisfied with my experience in the store
I canvassed several Trek sellers in the area and looked at other manufacturers too. I was sold on Justin's knowledge of the components and general enthusiasm towards biking. Justin listened to my preferences and worked with me to ensure I was properly sized and had information I needed to discern which model I ultimately chose to purchased. Not all local bike shops did this, so I was reassured that should any issues arise Cyclery USA would address them without hesitation. You should understand that other manufacturers offered slightly better value, but I ultimately went with the Trek due to their lifetime warranty and availability of parts/service. I last purchased a Trek road bike in 2001 (SLR 2300), it has been a workhorse. I expect that the Domane SL6 Gen 4 will be the same, albeit with much more comfort. Anyone who is looking for this level of service needs to check out Cyclery USA at one of their locations.
I visited three local bike shops in the neighborhood to purchase a new bike. The service here stand out the most. The staff went extra distance to help me check the fit, have me try on multiple bikes, and explain patiently every question I have. Same across the three staff I met during my three visits. Professional, knowledgeable, and caring. Highly recommended.
I enjoyed my experience at this bike shop. I have had bad experiences at other locations, where if you are not part of their regular customers then you are made to feel like an outsider, or rushed, or insignificant. But not at Cyclery USA. James helped me out with my purchase, and was knowledgeable and attentive to my questions and purchase needs. He did not try to sell me the most expensive gear or convince me to upgrade my ride, but listened to my needs, asked questions, and made recommendations based on my needs and circumstances. He was great!
The shop has a large assortment of bikes, parts, and accessories. While my visit was for tires for my road bike, I will definitely be returning to look through their accessories and get parts for my other bikes.
Their prices were good, and comparable to other shops. Be aware that discounts and sales prices are not always reflected on the tag on the merchandise, so ask an associate for the current pricing on the items you are getting- they may well be cheaper!
As an avid rider, I would recommend this place to experienced riders who know what they want, as well as to novice riders who want to learn and get assistance with their purchase and sport.
Great bike shop! I have been going to the Rancho Cucamonga Cyclery USA for years now. I am always greeted when I enter and the staffs willingness to help with repairs or purchase or just simple advice is always so appreciated. They are able to complete repairs quickly and accurately. They have a large selection of bikes, parts and gear for all of your cycling needs. I highly recommend this shop to anyone!
Great place to shop. Feels like a Mom and Pop store. They do need a little more selection in riding gear. Everything they had in my size was Cyclery USA branded wear.
