My furnace wasn't working this morning and I called Cyclone Air Systems in San Jose, they came on weekend and they changed the control motherboard. Now is working perfectly fine now

Cyclone air systems had great reviews, and his bio showed over a decade of experience. When I called, Mario picked up right away and offered a free inspection. He diagnosed the problem as a cracked chimney cap, which was allowing water into the flue. He also noticed there wasn't much slope on the existing cap, so he recommended raising up the center slightly to create a better slope that would reduce water pooling. I'm always wary of being "upsold" by contractors, but he didn't make any pitch at unnecessary repairs, and the price seemed very reasonable to me. He needed some additional equipment, so he couldn't do the work on the day of the inspection, but he offered to come out the next day to fix the problem. Not only was the work itself top notch, but I appreciated how courteous and professional he was. He had great communication every step of the process. He arrived during the window of time he said he would, gave me a 20-minute warning before he arrived, and completed the work in exactly the time he said. He was also really warm and patient with my four year old, who watched them work and would ask the occasional question about what they were doing (or have a conversation with them about his favorite animal while I was writing the check).:) I feel really fortunate to have found Cyclone. Excellent work at a fair price, great demeanor, professionalism at every step, and entertainment for my 4 year old. Couldn't ask for more! Thank you, Mario!

We had a service agreement with a well-known Service Champion in Contra Costa County. One so popular they are always booked. Two weeks ago our former service company inspected our system, noted it was old, gave it the all clear and suggested we replace the capacitor before next summer. Well, our a/c stopped cooling this morning. Our preferred vendor told me the earliest they could come out would be 9/9 (yes, with a service contract). I told them we have guests coming this weekend (some elderly) and we needed working a/c in 100 degree heat. Nothing. I told them I was calling every HVAC company in Contra Costa County and nine days was too long.

The third call I made was to Cyclone Air Systems. I described the issue. There was a sense of urgency here. I was on hold for a minute and then told a 2-5pm slot is available today. Mario, the service tech arrived, diagnosed the issue, and found there were two capacitors and one was not needed according to spec. He replaced the capacitor, had our a/c functioning, and left our home two hours and forty-five minutes after my first call.

From now on I will call Cyclone for any HVAC service needs. The guy handling the phones was professional, courteous, perceptive, and expressed feeling for our situation. The service tech, Mario, was polite, perceptive, professional, communicative, and confident. He was here for approximately 35 minutes, a/c working.

I appreciate this level of service. This was my FIRST call to them. They treated me like I had been a client for many years and fixed the issue. No up selling, no games, just straight to business.

Our AC was out on a particularly hot day. It was on a Sunday evening and we called around a couple different places and no one was available to come, but then we called Mario and he was at our house within 2 hours. He fixed our AC and it was working within 30 minutes. He was very friendly and extremely professional. We will definitely recommend to our family and friends and will use him again if we need him.
