Cygnet Theatre reviews
16 Very nice theater, enjoyed my visit.
But it is not easy for people with a walker or cane. Guardrail is needed.
Saw the Christmas Carol 2022, now an annual tradition. Still as good as ever and the cast was so great! Lots of fun.
Their location in Old Towne is super quaint. The staff was fantastic and nice. The actors were so great and made A Christmas Carol a great experience for our whole family.
We saw A Christmas Carol for the second time in five years. Sean Murray was very good as Scrooge and reminded me of my favorite movie version with Alastair Simms. Sean made the matinee play extra special for our 5 year old granddaughter during the production when he acknowledged her. Fun play to get into the holiday spirit with an all around good cast. The jokes and caroling before the show were also fun.
Small but nice theater. The play we saw was A Christmas Carol. It was a little low budget but for a handful of actors they did a phenomenal job entertaining. The actors played multiple parts, and their acting was a lot better than some of the higher budget plays. Hats tipped to the cast!
We saw A Christmas Carol here. It was fabulous! Fun take on the classic and half the price of The Old Globe. You can pre-order drinks for intermission so they're waiting when you come out. Easy, free parking a few blocks away that they recommend at the transit center on weekends.
Nice and very intimate theater. The Christmas Carol play was just spectacular. Five stars from me.
Wonderful theater in the heart of Old Town. This is one of our favorite theater subscriptions.
Such an amazing venue. Quaint, charming. And a superb performance of Cabaret. World class!
We love this small theater, in Old Town so we usually park free in the transit lot, have a nice lunch, and enjoy a show, always well staged and acted. This is one of our favorite ways to spend a relaxing and often thought provoking day.
Every Play I've seen here has been wonderful. Intimate venue for a special night out.
An absolutely fantastic venue. Our first show was Cabaret and it certainly will not be the last.
I could hardly even concentrate on the show (Cabaret) due to the lack of air flow in the theatre. Hot, sticky, with no a/c in the middle of July. Almost walked out in the middle due to how miserable it was. I can't imagine how horrible it must have been for the actors in suits and the hot lights. Won't ever go there again.
Cabaret was gloriously wonderful, moving, &thought provoking. Performances worthy of Broadway. Staging creative, choreography brilliant, story gripping. Not one mediocre moment!
Cygnet is a great local theater. We have been members for years. They have consistently had 4 or 5 good shows each season.
Cabaret was a good production. A thought-provoking play, definitely worth it if you haven't seen it in a while.
Of course, COVID has had an impact and wearing a mask for a 2-3 hour show sucks.
We've seen a few shows here. The latest was opening night for "Cabaret, " which was awesome. Great cast and singing. The Cygnet is a very nice, intimate theater that I don't thinknhas any bad seats.
