Dana Point Sportfishing

Had a Great day on a full day charter! Spent time doing all different kinds of fishing for different species. Then finally found schools of Tuna to finish the trip off right! Our captain Ryan was amazing and made sure we had a blast!

Booked 3/4 day trip for 3 people. For a cool 300 bucks, we spent the day about 500 feet off shore instead of boating out for yellowtail as advertised. We could see the cars on the highway from where we were docked. Could have saved the money by fishing off the pier for free. Such a disappointment, I will book with a reputable company like H&M or Point Loma next time. Save your money, it's a rip off. They gave some lame excuse about the winds on a wind-free day. Never again.

We did a half day tour and Ryan Was our captain. He was easy to connect with and was So knowledgeable about fishing We caught more than 50 fish today. We had 3 of our kids with us and he Was patient and showed Them how to do it all. Such an enjoyable day!

We went fishing with Capt. Ryan today and had such a good experience. We caught Barracuda, Mackerel, White Sea bass, Vermillion, and Rock Fish. The boat was impeccably clean and comfortable. The gear was clean and functioned perfectly. Ryan was knowledgeable and shared insight to help each of our group improve our skills. Captain Shane was great to work with and it was easy to book the trip, easy to get to the harbor and the boat. We really enjoyed our day! If you are looking for a great day of ocean fishing with a group of people who will really take care of you this is it! We we be back to chase the big offshore fish on our next trip with Captain Ryan and Dana Point Sportfishing.

Just returned from the full day San Clemente Island trip. We were all inexperienced and the captain worked hard to teach us all about the gear, season, and what type of fishing options were available. We came home with a boat load of fish. On the way back our captain made a detour and found a school of bluefin, successfully taught us how to troll through the school. We all had a blast. Can't wait till next year. Thanks guys!

Shane and Ryan can tailor a trip to people of all ages and levels of expertise. These guys put you on the fish, simple as that. Not only did they deliver, Ryan took us to the islands and we left with a cooler full of yellowtail as well as some some bass, bonito, and sheephead action. Will book again!

VERY VERY responsive and nice people. I recently needed to book a fishing trip and the person corresponding with me was extremely helpful and prompt. I ended up being not able to book with them because the size of my party kept growing. But I would have. They are cool about it nonetheless. This level of courtesy and professionalism needs to be recognized.
