Daniel's Coffee reviews
19Incredibly nice young man got me coffee and an amazing cheese danish even though they weren't officially open yet. Really amazing service!
I had an ice latte and almond croissant - both were really lovely and the staff were excellent. A really great place to sit and enjoy good coffee and a pastry!
Grab a glass of iced coffee or smoothie and enjoy the colorful vibes of Spanish art village during the hot day.great place, great drinks. Horchata latte is a hit.
All i had was a fruit smoothy but it was delicious and certainly hit the spot on and cooled me off on a blazing hot day. The atmosphere is lovely, located in the Spanish art village. There are several cement tables, complete with umbrellas to offer shade.
Stopped by here after a long afternoon strolling around Balboa Park and the Japanese Gardens.
My siblings and I had a 96th birthday party for our mother. My thought with having an espresso, coffee and cold drink venue for our guests was that it would hit the spot and make the party more unique. And it did! I remain super impressed with the service. The drinks were fantastic. I appreciate good espresso drinks! The day I had the party was the hottest day on record and it really was miserable. There was nothing to be done about it except to accept it. Even with this, we all had a great time. They arrived well before the start time and were ready to go early. I will definitely hire Daniel's again, and again and again.
Service isn't great but it's a great little spot since the only other coffee options are near the Mingei museum.
Only gave it three stars because my family liked their frap and tea (would have been one of it was just me). My cold brew tasted burnt and they misspelled my name. The croissants are tasty.
Stopped by here after a long afternoon strolling around Balboa Park and the Japanese Gardens. Service was extremely friendly! I got the Queen Bee (a honey latte with cinnamon), and it was delicious. There’s tons of outdoor seating around to relax and enjoy your drink!
So so so good. We ordered few drinks for the family and everyone enjoyed it. Mexican mocha I had was the best with tiny chocolate crunches. I had it with oatmilk. It's so hard to get perfect drink with non dairy milk, but this place had it really great.
Daniel has always been a stand up person. Have been going to his cart for years. A pleasure to see him whenever he is there.
Good coffee. Tried the dirty chai latte and it was nice. My friend tried the gingerbread latte and she said it was decent.
That was literally the worst drip coffee I’ve ever had. The first attempt was lukewarm and watery. I asked them to remake it, which they did using a new batch. It was the normal temperature but the flavor made me gag.
I’m honestly shocked by how bad that coffee was. Two stars for nice atmosphere and good service.
Awesome place for coffee! I love their Mexico Mocha's. Been here quite a few times, always fast great customer service. Prices are also good unlike most over priced places in SD. Definitely not over hyped.
It’s really cute small coffee stall with super fragrant coffees and interesting tea flavors! Super friendly staff! Perfect mid-day pick me up high quality coffee/beverages on a beautiful day in Balboa park!
Seems like a popular place for sweetened drinks. If you’re looking for a straight black coffee you may want to look elsewhere, I couldn’t finish mine.
The almond croissant was excellent! I could have eaten 10 but trying to get the covid pounds off. And the lavender chai out of this world! Perfect flavor. Just sweet enough. If they sold it by the gallons I’d buy it! Definitely a must see when you visit Balboa park.
