D_P deserves more credit for curing AIDS. Their creative team should win a prize for the D_P Health Equity Walk. And from what I can see, they have eradicated the meth crisis in Palm Springs. You look good with those designer blinders.

This was the only clinic available within an hour of my house, and my son has prescriptions. He needs to get right away. I was told an application would be emailed to me. I called four times this first day and the guy kept saying he would email it right away he never did. It’s like he does not care at all. Horrible

For those members of the LGBTQ community that are interested in DAP healthcare solely for primary care, your experience will be lackluster. Just like many previous reviews have stated, the employees at DAP are miserable people who behave very resentful towards the patience of clinic. It takes a little over a month to see primary care provider and if you try and do a walk-in appointment at the yellow clinic, it's a 50/50 chance that you will be seen. Since providers tend to call off and they do not have a backup plan. I did have to file a grievance with my health insurance in regards to DAP and the referral department. My insurance company actually contacted DAP and DAP was caught lying to the insurance company about the timeline for referrals to be processed. DAP has expanded to quickly, taken on to many patients, and hired employees who lack professionalism and the ability to do the job that they were hired to do. This is what has brought down the quality of service that DAP offers. What I have stated here are things that I personally experienced and they seem to correlate with the other experiences of people who have posted reviews about DAP. I am no longer a patient there; just like many people before me.

Horrible.horrible.horrible experience. I would tell you what happened but it would take up this whole page. This place use to be so good. The only thing they have thats a good service is their Labcorp there.

I was living in LA and recieved my treatment and had my primary care at the LALGBTQ Jeffery Goodman clinic. Everything was taken care of. They would call me to remind me of things that needed to be taken care of. I had to move to PS and switch primary care. DAP told me it would take several months for me to get in. I ended up with a primary care physician elsewhere, but they wont help me with a condition I have and gave me a referral to DAP for treatment. DAP lost my referral twice. Then made me fill out a registration packet with a financial screening (I'm already insured, so why?). They lost that packet 3 times. The first 2 times Joanne told me I could scan and email the forms, which I later found out they dont accept scanned/emailed copies. Its officially been over a year of me trying and now I am out of critical life saving medication, and they wont even give me an emergency supply because they cant find me in the system. I miss the LALGBTQ. They got they stuff taken care of. DAP is a joke and dont care about peoples health like they should.

The pharmacy and lab services provided here are excellent, second to none.

The other services are far more difficult to access.

The Orange clinic at DAP sucks. Went in to get tested and they would not help me. Wanted to send me to Indio, or come back on Friday when I was right in front of them, and they we’re doing NOTHING. I don’t get it. My doctor, however is helping me out. Never going to the orange clinic again for anything ever. If you need help avoid the Orange clinic if at all possible. Not getting checked until Monday now thanks to those A-holes. Hope they experience the same lack of care they exhibit.

No one seems happy working here. I've had now 4 primary care providers in the short time I've beengoing to DAP. In my experience, most providers and nurses complain about senior staff, hours, people problems. Most quit after short stints from what I see. You have to ask why the turnover is so high? It sounds like a toxic environment to work in. All those great facilities, staff and $$ flowing into there you'd think they could concentrate more on making a healthy environment to work and receive services.

This place is an organizational disaster. They need new management from the top down and a total revamp of how they operate.
