Amazing winery with a focus on Persian food. The architecture pays homage to the city of Persepolis. Well informed staff and a unique wine tasting experience.

We were there for a corporate event as guests. It started out amazing. The scenery is second to none, the grounds are heavenly. We had an excellent dinner and we were asked to place our orders. I ordered two cases and then was asked if I wanted to try their proprietary merlot. I said yes, and myself and my group went in and we tried it. It was good and then then the host came over and stated “I heard you want four cases? ” I actually said “ok” and sat down on the couch. I then asked for one more glass and they stated that they didn’t have any more and I could have lemonade if I wanted. I obviously, turned down the lemonade. They then asked if I wanted a bottle to take. I responded “yes”. They then asked for my credit card. Keep in mind this is after I ordered six cases, four of which were quite honestly a mercy buy. The merlot was not great but after the night we had and the scenery I would have purchased anything. However, not seeing the big picture and not giving my wife and I a glass after placing an order for six cases was very disenchanting. My wife ended up going back in and canceling the order. The reality is that there is a lot of competition when it comes to wine. I believe that there are over 900 vineyards and wineries in Napa alone. When you go to visit, it’s not always about the taste but the experience. When you have a good experience and you have bottles from that vineyard you think back to that experience with every sip. You relive it. You can smell it, taste it, feel the breeze, etc…however, I can tell you that my experience at this winery/vineyard had me never wanting to experience that feeling again. If I ever hear the word Darioush again it will be too soon. I am very disappointed because the night started off with so much promise yet it went really sour at the end. I never leave reviews, however, this has been weighing heavily on me for several days. I do not want to dissuade people from visiting…it is a beautiful property but the wine is mediocre and the customer service is levels below. They were patronizing and quite honestly made me feel as if I was not worthy of tasting their subpar merlot one more time. That is not how you want to feel when on vacation having such an experience. I would like them to learn from their actions and be prosperous in the future.

Did the wine pairing and the experience was amazing. Our Guide was Phil and he took the experience from 100% to 120% his confidence and knowledge regarding the history and legacy of this amazing winery was out of those world. By far was of the amazing tasting we have been to.

Orietta provided us a once in a lifetime glimpse into the magical world of wine, chocolate and olive oil during our tour and tasting at Darioush. I wish I had a year to spend with her. The winery is breathtakingly beautiful, the wines a deep and delicious adventure, and the winery itself, a majestic architectural delight! We’re long time members of Darioush because we love the wine and the tasting experience ever time we visit. The incredible Persian temple in the heart of Napa Valley is worth visiting on its own. But when you go inside and see the elegant design, taste the the premier wines, and experience the hospitality, you’ll know why it’s a must stop every time we visit.

This visit we were treated to a mezze platter with carrot hummus, olive’s marinated in pomegranate, beet salad and chicken meatballs. Not to mention their signature pistachios. I wish we had a lighter lunch to more fully enjoy it but, it was, like their wines, absolute perfection.

Do not miss Darioush if you visit Napa Valley

Absolutely LOVED LOVED our experience here. We are fairly new to the world of wines, but could nevertheless see that wines here are spectacular. Gregory was super great and patient with us, and really helped us broaden our boundaries with wine and food pairing. Promised my husband that I would refrain myself from hoarding more wines but ended up purchasing three bottles - two bottles of 2011 cab and their newest vintage of DUEL! Definitely will be back soon.

Really cool new age winery. Feels elegant. Very relaxing not overpowering presence when tasting wine. The sommelier comes pours the wine gives a little story behind it then leaves you alone to enjoy the glass and your company. Really liked that approach. I haven’t been to many wineries but this one was very welcoming and relaxing. Also has great little bites to eat.

I am surprised by how many great reviews this winery has, but not surprised by the lower ratings, especially around service. Our tasting (4 wines) took 90 minutes. The guide was too slow between pours and way too verbose. It lacked elegance and finesse. For the price and a top notch experience, you're better off at Opus One or Silver Oak. It ruined our experience and impression of the winery. Additionally, the sales pitch at the end is too overt. All the other wineries tell you it's there, and you can choose what you want. To sum it up, this was a timeshare experience, not a world class winery.

Beautiful Winery. Wine tasting here was inspirational. The staff was absolutely fantastic. Warm and friendly and very knowledgeable. A must see for tourists as it is truly a unique experience.

Second visit to this winery and I will keep coming back. Small, tastefully decorated, amazing wines and impecable service!

For my bestie and I's joint birthday celebration Part 1, we decided to do wine tasting in Napa Valley. There were so many wineries that we wanted to visit, but alas, we lowered our choices down to 3 wineries so we weren't overkilling it with the wine. Darioush was our ultimate #1 choice due to the numerous great reviews about the winery and its extravagant exterior. We made our reservations online and it was extremely hassle free. They don't take walk-ins, so make sure you reserve/call online in advance to secure your spot. They have a variety of different packages that may only be available on certain days.

S I G N A T U R E M E Z Z E - $85/per person
Our group opted for this option which allows a group of up to 6 people to relax at a private table either indoors or outdoors. We wanted to be outdoors to enjoy the lavish scenery. It comes with 4 wine flights (Merlot, Duel Cabernet Sauvignon/Shiraz, Malbec and Cand small bites that compliment the wine. What we enjoyed about this experience was that although it was in an open space, it still felt like a private experience. Our host was awesome and educated us on the different wines and desired pairings. They even have blankets for those that may be cold from sitting outdoors. We all enjoyed our small bites and it was interesting how certain wines would bring out the flavors from the small bites. We definitely enjoyed this experience and would recommend it to those that have not been to Napa before. I cannot judge how their wines compare to other wineries down the road, but for us, it was such a pleasant experience as most of us were first timers for wine tasting.

I enjoyed both the food and the wine. The food is seasonal and tasty. I just wish that they timed our arrivals better so that the food could be warm

The best Cabernet Sauvignon in Napa can be found here! I visited the winery with my family and we thoroughly enjoyed the wine tasting with food pairing. We also received a tour of the beautiful estate and ended up enrolling in our first wine membership. We look forward to coming back when in the area, and we look forward to receiving bottles of Darioush "cab" for several years to come ️

A bit more pricey than some of the wineries you can find in Napa, but once we got there we immediately knew why. All of their wine tasting selections are so much better, and the staff is knowledgeable

We come every year for our team retreat and Darioush never fails to impress. Josh was nothing but exceptional. The food was well paired with the tastings. I recommend coming here to everyone we meet.

Drove past this place every day for almost 5 years. When I was working at SHH. My sister and brother in law took me here for wine tasting. Very nice place, great wine. There members of the wine club.
