Called about a part, the rep told me they had it. At the end of the day when I arrived, a rep told me they don't carry those parts. Poor customer service. I would avoid.

Terrible experience, must have been a bad employee. I see theres lots of good reviews for this place but i had a very unprofessional and just bad time. I called and they answer very quickly and then hang up or talk back. Then I just drove to the shop and waited 1 hour for something that was suppose to be “Ready to pick up” I would no recommend this place to none of my friends or family nor anyone I know. I hope the owner sees this review. Thank you

It was recommended to me by a friend, to go there for some used tires for my son.
Didn't even know that place existed.
Lots of small shops for everything related to cars, mechanics, body work, tires, car for sale, ect.
I recommend it.

Highly recommend this place. I shopped around a little before calling them, they were friendly and the part was fairly priced. I went to pick it and they were polite and very helpful both, the guy in the office and the guy who brought the part to my car. Next time I need a part this will definitely be my first call.

I asked Dave what it coast for the corner tail light for a Toyota Camry 2000, he said $65 I called other places I found it for $40 I saved $25 so I used the difference to but gas in my car and not put it in Dave's pocket, Dave is greasy Money hungry.

This Wrecking yard is awesome. Most of the times they have the parts there in stock and give a very good deals, half price from dealer. Couple of time they did not had the part in stock, but they prontly found it for me and sold it to me. They olso installed a used engine into my wife's SUV and they performed a good job, and the price was really affordable. If i have to recommend a salvage yard in San Diego, Daves would be the first choice.

I have come to this yard for many different cars throughout the past five years. I have bought a used rear differential for my mustang, a used engine for my tuson and various other parts. They have been very helpful and installed everything at a savings of almost 50% or more. The engine only cost $1000 installed. Used or not it was a deal in my book. They guys are always busy, but that is usually a good sign. They do warranty their work and it has always been great.

They are very helpful, and have an excellent customer service.
Javier helped me to locate a part for my car. Dealer wanted $1800 and Javier sold it to me for $250

2 years ago I trusted Daves Auto to rebuild my engine on a Toyota Tacoma. I spent 1500 bucks and rented a car for 2 weeks while i waited for Daves Auto to rebuild my engine. They took my money and never rebuilt the engine, which recently blew up. Mechanics in San Diego sadly informed me that the engine was never rebuilt. Daves Auto mechanics are Crooks.they will milk you for all the worth, Run baby Run!

I was sold a damaged part and not allowed a refund. These guy's can not be trusted. There are better places to go AVOID THIS PLACE!
