Dave's Hot Chicken, San Diego CA

I always assume that a place that says they have "hot chicken " has like a decently hot seasoning, but nothing to get excited about, but the reaper tender was actually pretty dang hot! Fresh pippin hot, juicy chicken absolutely covered in their reaper powder and delicious with the Daves sauce. GF wanted to try it and ended up stealing my drink lol P. S.yall should team up with Blair's or Daves' gourmet hot sauce and do a collaboration!

This is my 3rd time having Dave's but my first at the Pacific Beach location.

I tried the sliders with cheese for the first time and I loved it! I highly recommend the Sliders with cheesy cheese on it. Mild/Hot levels recommended. The Fries are seasoned or something, gives it a good taste. Make sure to say no pickles or kale slaw, I'm a picky eater so I have to get things removed. Panic panic!

This place is even open on Sundays! That makes it even more exciting! Football, hockey, and chicken! I love chicken. This chicken taste better than KFC! Sorry Col Sanders, but Dave's is now coming thru.

But we still need a Dave's in the South County (South of the 54 Freeway). The bathroom of this location is placed in an awkward spot but its usable. But I think I saw a homeless guy just get soda form the fountain dispenser an old cup and walk out. But the Chicken still taste amazing.

Food is good enough, but the customer service is not that great. The front lady was nice. However when i Asked to replace toast with Coleslaw, they told her I’d have to pay for it. Nasty.

Wow this checken is hot, I chose the second one down the list for heat. Oh my. Great though

Excellent chicken sandwiches! I don't like that they ask you to tip, even when you're getting it to go! Who does the tip even go to? Besides that great, it does get real busy during the summer.

Lisa is an outstanding and amazing employee she's really kind and was patient with me while I was looking through the menu and even gave me suggestions! 11/10

Love their sliders but wish they could reduce their garbage by reducing plastic bags especially for their dine in customers where there is just no need.

It’s tasty, but there are places in the same chain that are cleaner, but in this establishment I combined a meal and boxing flies, on the one hand, it’s nice that I was able to practice

I always buy food from this location and it always good, but yesterday was the worst one. I got sick, I throw up and my mom had diarrhea. I think the oil was old or they fried the chicken a day before. Unfortunately this location was the only one I eat from and I will never go back again.

Efficient service I enjoy every bite from Dave’s. The San Diego Pacific beach store is awesome.

Me and my boyfriend got food poisoning from this place, never coming back here and the food was salty

20/10 this is THE BEST chicken in San Diego. I’ve had multiple from mainstream to small business but nothing beats Dave’s Hot! Angelo was awesome helping us pick out exactly what we were feeling and checked up on us to make sure we were satisfied with our meal. If you haven’t had it, GET IT. You will not be disappointed.
