Had appointment at 10: 30 and I was called at 10: 30 to go in the back. Now that is impressive. And the staff seemed very courteous. And Jill McLeod was very nice and informative. Keep up the great work.

Staff is always friendly and helpful.
Waiting time depends on number of patients before you. Don't mind the wait because Dr. Pilkington spenss the time necessary with all of his patients.

I have been going to Pilkington Dermatology on a regular basis for at least 10 years. The staff and Dr’s are magnificent. I’ve now had to have several skin cancer surgeries, either there, or they’ve felt another surgeon with A different process would be better. Yes, there’s A once in a blue moon wait, but I’d rather they take the time to care for their patients than run us through the office like a cattle auction. I highly highly recommend.

Basically, if you can find a dermatologist in another town, just do it. Pilkington office is lucky that it is the only dermatologist in Merced and it gets to treat the patients in whatever way it wants since the patients don't have any other option. God forbid if you need to ask a question, you can never talk to anyone. Nobody answers the phone and if they do and you explain your problem, the lady says that she will connect you to a nurse, then an automatic voice tells you that the office is busy. The pills that the doctor has prescribed for me have the worst side effects on me and nobody answers the phone so that I can have them changed. They ask you to leave a message so that they can get back to you but obviously they never do.

I went for my first visit at his office with a 12pm appointment time. Before I got all the paperwork filled out they were calling me into the back. I really liked the Dr. He was very friendly and made me feel at ease. I had never been to a dermatologist before and now will continue to see him. It was a very good experience I highly recommend. In addition my appointment was schuale in December but they called me with an early appointment from cancelation. I am very happy.

Horrible, waited 7 months for appointment. They call me to remind me that the appointment is the next day, I show up to find out they made a mistake and now have to wait 5 more weeks for next appointment! Bad service, and sad part is nothing an individual really can do anymore.

Dr Pilkington and staff is just concerned with making their money. My 82 year old mother has been a patient for many years. She lives in Groveland, and we have had a months worth of snow and she would come if weather permitted and we were notified that if we missed an appointment without a 24 hour cancellation we would owe them 70 dollars. I explained she has been snowed in and we would do our best to get there for the appointment. Ok, we made the appointment but mom didnt have medicaid card with her. They would not see her unless she paid cash. Her card was in file from previous visits, i saw her file. They would not see her, she was now considered a new patient without insurance. She has medicaid and Tricare for Life a Colonels wife in the Air Force. Where is your compassion for your patients. Dr Pilkington you removed cancer twice from my mom's face. Shame on your practice not being more intersted in your patients, instead just want to get paid. I'm at a loss, this is exactly why people don't go to the doctor. Go see him make up your own mind, but we wont be back. I want zero stars, but not an option.

I really like this office BUT it is true that you wait a long time for an appointment, and for the last two days I've been trying to reach a human being for the results of a biopsy and no one is answering the phone or returning messages left on voice mail.

PA Jeremy Hill is fantastic. The receptionists have been great. I've been seen almost immediately every time. And when I've needed a call back, they've called back within the hour.

Front desk staff forgot about me sitting in the waiting room for about an hour. I had appointment for 2pm and staff never acknowledged me after I signed in. Patients came and left as I just sat there and was the only one there and still no acknowledgement I was there. Maybe because I was a new patient and they didn't care. I finally just walked out.

Been going to this office for several years. The PA, Jeremy Hill has been great to see and work with.

However, I called this a.m. And was told that Jeremy is moving and only comes in on Fridays, and that his next available appt wouldn't be until September 22nd (9 weeks out). When I asked about the others, I was told the same thing. 9 weeks out.

Totally unacceptable and Dr Pilkington needs to either cut back on new patients or hire more staff. Also, the person on the phone refused to state if Jeremy was moving out of Merced or to another location.

Such a shame that this office has gone down the tubes so fast when it comes to Customer Satisfaction and only looks at the money side of the house!

Very experienced crew and dermatologist. Only problem is that they take forever to get in with. They're always busy and booked out for atleast 2 months

Dr. Pilkington is great. Front staff looks like they hate their life. I am now 45 minutes past my appointment and everytime is the same thing.even saw a fist time patient show up pay cash and was sent back before me. Horrible. Only gave two stars because Pilkington is actually good.

The staff was very friendly and my appointment was quick and easy! They made me feel comfortable and procedure was quick and painless! Thank you again! Thank you Diana and Erika for everything!

Front desk employees are very unprofessional. Their body language and attitude is terrible! Dr. Pilkingston is the best.only reason why i go back.
