If you’re going through any type of cancer scare, DO NOT go to Dr. Morrison. I have severe anxiety and depression and he was well aware of that because I spoke to him about it and he has the medication that I’m taking for anxiety and depression on file. I went through a cancer scare and had 3 Ct scans done and the 2 times I met with him for our “appointment” I felt very rushed and disrespected. He did not seem to care at all about what I was going through, made me feel crazy for being scared and he also said I was “ACTING CRAZY” because my hands were shaking while we discussed my results. Whether I had something bad or not on my CT scans, HE DID NOT have to speak to me like that. My primary doctor sent me to see Dr Morrison so I could have a peace of mind and He did not take me serious. I felt mocked by him

I had a dentist appointment coming up so I had labs done to confirm that my platelets were okay before having any work done. I noticed that my red cells were high and my platelets were barely okay so decided to call the office to see if I could book an appointment with Dr. Morrison to go over the lab results. The office said that I already had an appointment with Dr. Morrison in a few months but they would ask him if he was willing to see me sooner. I got no reply, so I decided to switch to my mom's oncologist/hematologist, (who is in the same office) Dr. Castellon. Big mistake. The receptionist asked why I wanted to switch, I said I wasn't able to get a hold of Dr. Morrison. I guess the reason did not sit well with either doctor.

The whole appointment with Dr. Castellon was just her berating me for switching doctors and telling me that any medical complaints that I may have should be directed to my primary care physician, not my oncologist/hematologist. Not sure why she felt the need to clarify this since I'm not a doctor and have no idea what symptoms would be due to my autoimmune blood disorder and which wouldn't.

Seems like she was just annoyed that I had switched doctors as she kept going on about how she knows people who have had the same doctor for over 40 years and that she would only see me twice a year. She made a point of telling me that she would not be prescribing me any Prednisone (I never asked). She hardly even let me talk and wouldn't even let me finish answering a question before she would start taking over me. She was very unprofessional, rude, combative and dismissive.

A bit of a warning about Dr. Morrison. If you're unlucky enough to be in a waiting room, near his office in the back, (especially during his lunch break) you might hear his unfiltered political and racist bull (ie. "Do you speak English? ! You're in America now! " or "California is communist. All hail Putin").

The front desk staff has usually been very polite and courteous though.

I had lung cancer in 2017 so a third if my lung was removed, it was a truly scary time for my family and myself. This year would have been my 5th year clean or so we thought.a few months ago they found something in my lungs so I needed a Pet scan.
I have always felt safe with my Doctors and the staff. Needless to say I was scared as was my family. My visit today was a happy one Dr. Morrison informed that there was no trace of cancer and that I would return in one year for a follow up. Talk about a happy camper that was me and I want to thank God for keeping me safe. Thank you Dr Morrison and staff for your encouragement.
See you next year.

Dr. Morrison is a very attentive doctor. He approaches such a difficult conversation (cancer) with a pleasant dimenear and good humor, which is so needed when you receive this type of news. He's caring, supportive and makes sure you feel comfortable with his answers. I'm very happy with the support my mother received/ is receiving under his care.

Dr David Morrison at oncology institute, takes the cake in Poor Patient treatment. He is Also a waste of breath to speak to. He really should not be tending to oncology, but Psychiatry and a lesson in verbal communication. Ruddest Medical Dr. Ive ever met. Rude and Unproffesional!

My husband was diagnosed with stage 3 cancer. Dr. Morrison is the doctor cover my husbands original oncologist. Currently my husband colostomy open had an infection causing him to be admitted into the hospital. Long story short. I was told my husband was going to start chemo. I left a message 4 days in a row for Dr. Morrison to return my call in regards to my husbands progress and what the next step would be. When he called he seemed to be confused as to not know what I meant by next step. He then hung up on me. He never once reached out to the hospital to follow up on my husbands status as he should have. Having to deal with the colon cancer alone can be stressful. But having doctors with no compassion or empathy is just not right. I do not recommend him to anyone. Very unprofessional and rude I wish I could give him no stars at all.
