DAX8 Amazon, Palmdale CA

I came here for a group job interview. When I arrived, There was no clear signs informing Applicants Where to go. Another applicant Was confused as well so We just ended up ringing some Bells and figuring it out. We were directed To what appear to be A large beautiful employee break room. It was about a group of 20 to 30 people. A random man came out and made an announcement to fill out the applications and when we were done he would collect them, Which he did and then Nothing happened. They just took our apps and promised interviews by phone By that evening. This was In Stark contrast of the job post promised, Which was on site interviews And same day hiring. For me at least the phone calls never came. Not even an email or a rejection letter.

With no follow up or explanation. I'm kind of glad I didn't drive 40 miles to Santa Clarita, Because at the time gas was nearly $7 a gallon, Regardless of whatever I would have Firmly Persistent that somebody to give me an interview. Unprofessional, Unorganized, I definitely expected better From Amazon or the people they subcontract.

What kind of place doesn't provide a website or phone number? I don't even know if they're hiring or not.

I need to give huge kudos to my Amazon driver, Josh! He's always so pleasant and courteous when delivering our packages! The greatest thing is that I've seen him be so careful to make sure nothing is damaged.it's nice to have people who care and are professional, I hope he stays on his route that includes our house and I hope he stays in his job forever! I believe he works out of Palmdale and hope this review reaches his bosses and passes on our gratitude for his kindness and professionalism.

This location practice unfair hiring.
Iv been putting in my application for DSP driver and warehouse with this Amazon location since January. My resume matches perfect with the job and the requirements. I have applied many different ways also Thru indeed, Glassdoor, and, the Amazon job website all of which I get ignored and shut out. They are always posting that they are hiring so when I see that they are I submit my application. Also when you go through the website you have the option to schedule an interview on the website and they never have interview slots available and I believe they do that on purpose I always request for them to add more interview slots but they don’t because if they did I would get a notification letting me know. The AV is small so when big companies come into small town and start doing unfair hiring it forces us to look for jobs out of town And we shouldn’t have to do that for the same amount of pay we can get here. I applied for a few other Amazons locations as a DSP driver in the valley and Simi Valley and I am able to get a interview. The hiring manager at the Simi Valley location even text me asking when could I come in. Everyone tells me you have to know someone to work at this location, is why I say they are unfair. Not sure if they are not hiring me because I’m black or a female idk?

Not worth it it supposes to be only palmdale lancaster they send you to santa clarita way out of your zone what a scam

This driver should be disciplined he lied and did not put the apartment number on there. He delivered it to the wrong apartment y'all should be ashamed of yourselves having drivers that work for you guys that lie. I did not receive my package and you can clearly see that my door do not have a brown mat in front of it.

Amazon you need to retrain your employees. I received a delivered notification only to find no package on my door step. Your driver either delivered it to the wrong address (as usual) or just scanned delivered and took it back to the station for the following day. Customers pay for items to be delivered in a timely matter. Do your job correctly.

Amazon prime driver from the Palmdale facility stole a ups package from our door step while delivering packages. Fortunately we caught it on camera. (The package he took was clearly marked and labeled for UPS. The UPS package was a Amazon return and we did contacted Amazon and got a refund. But I really want this man to be held responsible before he dies this to someone else.

I work with Amazon so I go to this location occasionally. Never had any problems there. Not really a public business though: P

The company redtails does things so werid. And has to be broke.why did I had to use 5apps? ! One to talk back to dispatch "mothership" (cringe) and never responded. Also another app to use to schedule and another one for clock in. The rest is for main amazon apps. Other DSP use PAYCOM! It's does everything. Also, I worked one day (keep in mind covid is not over) and I got the uniform. I tired it on, and I decided to transfer to another DSP. I told her and now she wants the cloths back. Also they rely too much on teamwork. So when you're done loading your van.they want you to help other people and if you don't you get these "tickets". These tickets are threats to keep you from working ANY amazon DPS or fulfillment center.

How are people even applying? I’m interested, and I’ve even tried to walk in to ask for applications and they said to look online but it takes me to different websites

I did amazon flex, downloaded the app and it took me step by step it was super easy, you do have to wait on your background check and wait for availability to come up but you show up in your own car and deliver, loved the extra cash

My packages are ALWAYS either late delayed in transit lost or never arrive despite this Ive ordered more items thinking it will be delivered via USPS but nope it's delivered from the palmdale wearhouse please do better we pay for prime to have things delivered in a timely matter and we still don't get it in time.it says your package will be delivered by the end of that day but before the day is over Boom a delivery update that we will not get our package that day OR the next but 3 days later.this is becoming an issue.

When will the company start calling back applicants, my application status is still on "Application is complete" Im very interested.
