Day N Nite Car Wash reviews
17I pulled in several weeks ago to wash and vacuum my truck. An older gentleman who claimed to work there storm's up to me, asking me what do you think you're doing. Told him my plans and he said that I came through in the wrong direction. Not only was I not in the wrong direction, but I've been going here for years and have done it the same way, as have everyone else I see who goes there. The guy cursed at me, to which I was happy to leave and give my business to another establishment.
Works okay if you ask me. I really only use the water jet, soap and tri-polish and works fine. I wouldn't dare using the brush though. Vacuums are a little weak but still okay to clean up properly
Worst experience. Zero suction from the vacuum. Left the car as dirty as when I stated. Fragrance didn't work. Will not return.
3 out of 4 times here, the equipment doesn't work. Either won't accept card, or takes it and no water flows. Lost $$ trying to get it to work. This is beyond frustrating. I kept coming back thinking somebody would fix this stuff, but no luck. Never again. Stay away.
Wash your own or let the automatic machine do it. Plenty of parking afterwards for no stress detailing of my car.
Machines are always broken. Countless times where the machine has taken my money, I go to use it and it’s completely broken, unusable, etc. Dirty to the utmost. Trash cans are always overfilling and large pieces of trash are left there. Avoid at all cost! Also it’s about to a month since I’ve used this awful place and the $14.75 pending charge is still on my account. FYI.people write reviews when nothing has been done by the business to rectify the situation!
Overall good experience. I had a little issue with some of the vacuum hoses but overall pretty good.
It was pretty nice, but there is room for improvement though. For the"Do-It-Yourself car wash, where they only give you 3 to 4 minutes to do your scrubdown and everything, you should be given 5 to 10 minutes to do your scrubdown, or if you're going to wash your vehicle yourself. This especially if you're going to take it through the Automatic Car Wash part, where you stay in your car, and the machine washes your car for you.
Cost per minute is outrageous as compared to other locations. Small spots for pickup trucks. Foam brush is half destroyed and spits out 1000x more soap then needed so you get splashed while trying to wash your truck. Left soaking wet. Not reccomended.
Chose to either wash your car yourself or drive it through the automatic car wash. Self serve is tall enough for a rv 11 ft. Tall.
First time here was in the area, the spot free rinse on the self serve must been out cause it left spots all over my car
Our RV fit! It was a little difficult managing the hoses, but totally doable! 11’ tall, 25’ long
One of the only Razor, brushless washes in san diego, does a decent job for cars that are not very dirty but wont scratch your paint
So great I just did it and $3 is minimum so I did $6.25 because I wanted to tip them a quarter…jk
Not sure about vacuum because I had a dust buster so yeah if you want to go through each step rinse, soap brush, and blower, it was $6, but if you are smart and use quarters, I think you can get away with paying $5 depending on how nasty your vehicle’s exterior is and how efficient you and your assistants are handing off each task. Bring single with no children or family, life is often harder and tasks like this take longer to walk around the vehicle or even do other random stuff like making rational decisions.
Oh well.
I liked the credit card payment option. Allowed me to wash my van without running back to put coins every few minutes. Also there was no line at all.
Vacuums had good suction. Soap in car wash weird. Not mixed with water, just splits on the car and didn't clean that well. Plenty of cleaning gadgets. The metal bars supporting all the hoses on the ceiling kept getting entertwined while trying to use timed car wash. Convenient.
This place is pretty decent when it comes to self-service car washes. The equipment and machines are fairly new and it's maintained pretty well. It's 24 hours too, which was great when I was doing Uber Eats late nights.
