Days Inn by Wyndham Merced / Yosemite Area reviews
17The wifi was unable to connect, the bathroom supplies were empty and the breakfast was not very good. The staff was friendly and the room was clean with a comfortable bed. The price was high for the quality.
I had a great experience here cleanest hotel in Merced and breakfast is delicious staff was amazing! 10/10 recommend
Had a long drive from San Francisco came into town to visit a sick family member I got lunch next door went to the lobby to eat. While I was there I had a long conversation with the supervisor she was wonderfully. The rooms was a great size, bed was nice and soft. I will definitely be coming back.
Due to the freeway Construction exit wasn't opened but not hotel fault. Check in was fast, front girl was nice, room was a good size, breakfast was Complimentary which is great and good food. I checked out late but front desk was understanding. I will be back.
Not clear on negative comments of wifi. I used all my devices and video game with good speed. Nearby restaurants! Will continue to stay here
Super handy. Right off of I-5. The room was very Spartan but comfortable beds with crispy sheets. No mini fridge. The late night clerk was super helpful and friendly
Don’t like the policies, I’ve gone to this hotel a few times first it was always a 150$ cash deposit but today I’m told it’s 200$ cash deposit which is fine until another customer before me was told 50$ deposit on the card. I asked why we couldn’t leave a 50$ deposit on the card and she said it’s like that for everyone.the employee was nice but the hotel needs to figure out its policy. Judging from a previous review they seem to pick and choose who is charged a crazy amount for a deposit. It’s weird tbh
Clean rooms, good service but location is horrible. Merced is a dirty run down town. Downtown is all graffiti, boarded up storefronts (no businesses) and full of homeless people.
Prepare for a 40 minute check in. If you book online, and pre pay, they will demand 200$ cash. There's an ATM across the street. Make sure you evaluate the assigned room before you fork over any cash. Mine had damage. Glad I wasn't charged for previous problems. No other lodging demands cash like this place. Cha-ching.
NOT A HOTEL FOR FAMILIES!
They sell ear plugs at counter at check in, rooms had shoe prints on the bed.
No security, homeless using drugs right outside of rooms.
Front desk lady was very angry that we didn’t want to stay. BE AWARE OF THIS PLACE STAY AT YOUR OWN RISK!
I should have been smarter and looked the reviews here before I booked this Inn.
Not because of room, we were I guess lucky and had a clean room. But the weird thing is that the TV and lights were on when we got there.
Why I should have been smarter - because it seems that I won’t get my deposit back. According to them, they have tried to pay it back, but my card was “blocked”. I have ask for a proof of declined transaction so that my bank can resolve the issue and still I have received nothing. This is some kind of scheme, i don’t know how they pass IRS control
My brother booked this hotel by mistake, so we chose to stay—a bad move! Regarding the service, the neighborhood in which this establishment is located, and the cash deposit, the reviews speak for themselves. Since there were six of us, we rented two rooms. Among other concerns, one room was lacking a fridge, had stained linens, and had a loose toilet seat. My brother did not mention that they charged us $40 because the towels were stained with makeup until we were home. I'm glad he did, lol. It is stupid and absurd to charge for dirty towels! Their excuse is that the stains were not going to come off. How do they know that? Please stay away from this hotel. I was scared for my life. At night time, all you see outside is druggies and homeless.
Location is great, Service was very poor, rooms are very small, no coffee in the room, very pricy for the size and quality of the room.
Too bad that to have wifi you have to press a white square on a white background. Very difficult to find. I didn't find it, that was the only negative point
Do not book! Horrible experience! Not safe for families left as soon as we checked in! Violent and drugged people in and around hotel facilities!
It is a 2 star inn. It is clean but rooms has no fridge and Wi-Fi is not available to guests.
The WI-FI was not available to guest and they didn’t share the password by bringing excuse that they don’t know the password. I think they use a free Wi-Fi included as a sales pitch.
Trash containers are located on one side of hotel, which smells so bad, we could not even open the room door because of smell, even if we open the window right in front of window was trash container, we were stuck inside the room, could not even walk around freely outside. And they didn’t even change the room, saying that nothing is available.
