Days Inn Monterey Fisherman's Wharf/Aquarium reviews
13I love this place the owner is awesome and I stayed in two different rooms here both of which are immaculate and very nice nicer than Holiday inn for me and half the price!
Great for the price! There are two Days Inn in Monetary. This is the smaller slightly further out one. The walls are a bit thin and the blinds let in some light and the water pressure was on the lower side It didn't bother me, but it is good to mention.
Most food and activities were about 5-10 minute drive. This had slightly better access to Carmel by the sea and Big Sur.
Great simple hotel. Super Clean rooms. The staff assisted us with all our needs. Close proximity to mall that was within walking distance. Hotel Manager was great. Highly recommend this hotel location.
Room was clean, but small- not much foot room for having 2 beds. Pretty expensive. Is not right by Fisherman's Wharf as suggests in the title.
Wifi went out. Tv dosent work for more than 5 minutes. No one is fixing the issues. Not having Hotel wifi is not an option. We all have power but they are blaming a power outage. Dosent add up. Also they said on the website they have breakfast to go bags. We thought this was perfect because most hotels got rid of the buffet. They of course do not have the breakfast to go bags. I was told they are not sure why they have that online as they stopped serving over a year ago. This business of not informing people until your there and can not cancel is not acceptable. I will not be using Days inn hotels in the future. Get your act together! At least show what you really offer online. Covid is not new!
It was late at night it was nice and quiet we all went walking. Ramel and his children went all the way to the end and came back to where my daughter Crystal and I were talking & laughing. There were men fishing there. Man I wished I brought my fishing pole? Lol.
Very pricey comparing to the quality of the hotel. The hotel looks like a cheap motel. It was so not worth it!
Loved it! Came here to get ready for my wedding. The ladies that clean up are so nice and are so accommodating.
Basic motel, due to Covid, I had very little interaction with staff, but they appeared friendly and efficient. Room appeared clean. I had a couple of issues, but didn't report them because I was only staying one night. The most concerning was the door didn't close properly, and therefore the deadbolt didn't work. I didn't report it, because I knew they were sold out and I couldn't change rooms.
Room was dirty walking in and they couldn't change our room because "it was sold out for the night" I got a discount from the bill, but never the less, you can expect more from a hotel that has the Wyndham name on it.
For starters, we came up to Monterey for a few days, got the room. When we brought our stuff into room, found black hair on the towels. So we ask for more towels. The first night we were there, guests who parked next to our room, went out to their vehicle and preceded to run their engine while smoking something in their car. Could not sleep. Thankfully they left the next day. The bed was a little too soft for my back. Used to a firm mattress.
The water pressure in the shower was a joke. The sink had a slight tilt, so when you washed your hands, if water got on counter, it drained towards to toilet onto floor. They did not level when they remodeled. The pressure in the sink was great, hot knob was cold and yes you guessed it… cold was HOT. Toilet did not flush real well. Also no small breakfast muffins or coffee in lobby, probably due to COVID, but it would be ok to have muffins In wrappers. The small coffee pot, looked like it was for a playhouse for a child. Invest in one cup Keurig, guests will be happier. One great thing was the mall across the street. I have stayed at Days Inn when visiting San Francisco, better accommodations.
Hope the owners take reviews in to consideration. Make it better and they will come.

Surprising, from the outside looks meh but once you see the room is impressive, nice, Comfy, cozy room, TV, Mini fridge, microwave. Small but fits all plus closet for you to hang clothes, and reading lights in the middle of both beds.
