De La Pena Eye Clinic, Van Nuys CA

I really didn’t want to write a negative review because I had been to this place since I was a child I’m in my twenties now. But these people don’t seem to understand my frustration. I went in for contacts last DECEMBER it’s almost October and I have yet to receive my contacts I paid the amount I had to pay and for me not to be a Priority is just mind blowing. It’s been Months you do the math how long about 9 months that’s a joke. What’s even worse they do not get back to you and you CANNOT get a hold of them as they have a call center and the calls don’t go directly to the front desk. What kind of business is this? You will take payment before hand and not deliver what you’re supposed to?
I had to go in a number of times because like I said it’s impossible to get a hold of them you will be on hold for a while! You go in and they are no help you request a manager and they’re literally lost and don’t know what to say other then she will get back to you. One of the staff got back to me via email but I’d like to speak with the manager. Why isn’t the manager contacting me after several months of not being reached out to or anything. I went in yesterday and one of the excuses was that the dr who did my exam wasn’t there anymore but why didn’t they call me to tell me that or give me an update? Instead I have to go in and hear it in person. I don’t drive so I have to Uber there waste money just to talk to someone. I’d really like the manager to reach out this should be a priority. I don’t want there services I just want my money back at this point I’d like to take my business elsewhere. I get my glasses here which are always fine I don’t know why they couldn’t do contacts right this would have been my first time ever having contacts and I literally don’t want them anymore.

The staff is really nice and they take care of you really nicely. They are professional, compassionate, and caring

You will get good eye care here but they are always busy, typical for a clinic of this size. Very well staffed, from check in, basic tests to seeing a doctor. I get there early and am checked in within minutes, then basic vision test, eye pressure and all that goes rather smoothly. Then you wait for the doctor with a group of others. After that you check out and get your next appointment. All in all I still get out in about an hour, not bad at all.

Today is my first time and it is very nice. Everyone is wonderful and smiling! Thank you very much! Dr. Ung is a great doctor!

I like the people here, very nice - I saw Dr. Ung today and she made me feel good and so nice to me and she explained my diabetes.

This place is so unorganized it needs to be more up to date on members insurance/plans before scheduling someone an appointment I drove far just to find out my insurance wasn’t approved and I had to reschedule schedule my appointment Big inconvenience.

Called clinic to get info and possibly make an appt.but i was on hold for 45 min no answer.

What a bitter lady the one who attends in the area of ​​​​choosing glasses, nothing of patience has that horror of service

I came to the Van Nuys clinic and I came to pick up some glasses and I waited half an hour and just to pick up them up

Today at 9: 45 we had an appointment for my wife's eye test. We arrived early but in front desk heard the machine for test of eye is out of work. My wife lost the appointment. It was not important for crew to announce to patient early.

Worst clinic ever. I got exam and then was refused my glasses prescription because I didn't have insurance card. But they did exam without card. Total money scam. They just make you have to get there glasses.
