I could write a small novel about how difficult it has been getting a doctor to actually listen and help me with my chronic health issues. In desperation and frustration, I switched to Sharp in January. Very shortly after I had an appointment with Dr. Mayer. From the very first appointment I felt heard and respected. I felt like he actually cared about my health and was definitely going to sus things out. I just got the diagnosis I had suspected for the last several years - and while objectively it's not great, I find myself more hopeful and enthusiastic about my health than I have in a very long time. He has, in a very real sense, given me the chance to get back to living my life rather than just existing. I am beyond grateful I found Dr. Mayer and his assistant Jazmine.
