DeForest Park, Long Beach CA

Its pretty relaxing park if you enjoy the quietness. There's also ducks so if you wanna feed them bread you can. The floor is uneven, great for a run

Cool park but weird people under the bridge and by the middle of the entrance too. Be careful

There's homeless living in the park, aside of that it's a nice place. Just left the park.

Some trash in the park needs to be cleaned. However it's a great place for family gathering.

I recently went to this park. I am extremely saddened by how much trash and stench surround the park. The pond that has beautiful ducks and birds is littered with trash and in need of draining and cleaning. This park needs a few trash cans so people can stop littering. I could tell there was an attempt to reconstruct it, but it is unkept. I am worried as there is a school and a neighborhood where children participate in sports and other activities.

Love that they rebuilding the park this was my childhood park from the 90's bring so many memories use to walk thru the trials & find all kind of spots for my friends & I to hang out

Lots of area to walk threw nice scenery nice neighborhood good place to walk your dogs or play a nice game on the grass area very hilly and fun kinda big

It's nice to Forest Park DeForest park they made it look better the city did it's cool it's a cool place to go with your family now it wasn't before it was all messed up now it's real cool

Great area to ride blue mountain bike trails. It has some very fast paced areas for riding. There are a few arras to jump. This is my backyard and I love it. Strongly recommend it to inexperienced riders. Also great area for running, walking and to see wildlife.

Just Amazing. Super relaxing embironment. And the unique variety of plants and the perfect layout off the trails makes it worth to visit it.

We visited here back in late 2019 because we heard it was super haunted. We arrived in the evening and it has a great spook to it. The trails are cool at night. Nonetheless, we did have our experiences here. Everything was fine until my girlfriend said “manifiestate” and it went downhill after that. My girlfriend’s backpack was grabbed and I saw the most malevolent being imaginable. As we were leaving, I saw a very tall, black shadow with a white face nearing the entrance. You can imagine we got the hell out of there after that and have not gone back since. 4/5 stars for its spookiness tho.

They should open the public restrooms, it is useless if the park is open if the restrooms are closed. Each person who visits the park occupies the bathroom no matter how little use it is

It's an easy going park. Even the homeless around there don't bug you or ask anything from you. There always seems to be a breeze through the trees that's comforting.
For such a small park they still have family celebrations and ball games.not the usual distractions I guess that s what makes it a place for intimate family gatherings.
Oh yeah. It Is Haunted.

Beautiful park destroyed by trash. Very sad. No public bathrooms ever open (due to homeless) the city should be ashamed of themselves

It was good. A lot of information about 90805 New plan is good. So I was pleased.
It would be nice too see changers for the better near LONG BEACH/ARTESIA BL.

Beautiful for walks with family and friends. A couple benches to sit on. Ducks rabbits turtles on occasion are some of the animals you'll see here.
