Del Mar Nails and Spa

My daughter and I had an overall great experience at Del Mar Nails and Spa. I had Sophie and my daughter had Tina for our manicures. Both were fantastic and did a great job making our services relaxing and our nails beautiful. The only fault we found was that there were some purse sales people who slightly messed up the mood, but we still had a great time. We plan on going back for sure!

Sophie is truly outstanding. She always puts so much effort and care into my nails. I couldn’t ask for more — I love my nails every time. Thanks Sophie!

Nice and very accommodating and always willing to repair your nails for free which is great except I don't want to have to return for repairs two days after getting my nails done. Pay and sit for gel manicure and ask that they make them thick enough to not break as so not to have to return again and again. Gel nails should last 2-3 weeks. I’ve gone to Del Mar nails 3 times now and quality is just not there.

This is the only nail place I will ever go to! They are seriously amazing and I have struggled to find places that do my nails efficiently and effectively! Everyone there is so talented and do an amazing job but Kimmy in particular is so meticulous, fast, and always makes my nails look beautiful and exactly how I want them! 10/10, my new go-to!

Love this place! My nails literally last for like a whole month every time I go in. So far have been 4 different times for a new tip and dip set and a spa pedi! Highly recommend!

Everyone is super sweet! The place is nice and clean. 10/10 customer service Kimmy is super sweet and does such a good job at designs and acrylic nails. I’ve been coming here for a while now and they never fail to impress.

It was my first time here and I will definitely be coming back. I got a mani/pedi by Lanny and she did a fantastic job, she even gave me a massage! All the ladies were extremely nice and welcoming

Best mani/pedi I’ve had in years! The team really took their time with the sugar scrub and massage, and I enjoyed the paraffin wax treatment. No smudges on my nails as they gave me plenty of time to wait for them to dry. Everyone working the salon was friendly and attentive, and they were able to accommodate me as a walk-in without issue.

The new ownership is great. The service team is kind and competent. I've been here about ten times and each service has always been professional. Make an appointment for faster service.

CONSISTENTLY GOOD

When I was young my mom got her nails done every week. (Still does). It was her time alone, though I do remember my brother and I going with her from time to time and getting clear polish and painted balloons (probably when scheduling got tangled). And I've followed my mother's trend.

When I moved to San Diego (11 years ago) finding a consistently great nail salon was as difficult as finding a great dentist. It took me 5 years and finally I made an appointment with DONNA at DEL MAIL NAILS and SPA. Donna is professional, personable and she has perfected her craft.

Today I had an acrylic set done by KIMMIE. Picture shown. I've only had acrylics once before. Day 1, I am impressed with them. Kimmie looked at my photo once and was able to replicate beautifully.

Kimmie (& the rest of the team) do a consistently excellent job with my manicures & pedicures! Kimmie recently did my nails for my wedding and they were beautiful and held up great even throughout my 3 week African Safari honeymoon!

Kimmy is the only person I trust to do my nails. I always get an acrylic manicure, and she is so quick and skilled. My nails last me for over a month, and I’ve almost never had issues with lifting or breaking. Highly recommend!

2 of the nail techs started verbally fighting and arguing in front of all the patrons, making what was supposed to be my “me time” super uncomfortable.
The desk person offered one woman a bottled water but didn’t bother asking me or others.
Even though I liked my nails initially, my gel toe nails chipped within a week.
It was inexpensive so may be you get what you pay for?

I am always happy with the service I receive! The technicians do a great job and work in a timely manner. Great location too!

Kimmie the owner is hands down the best at her craft. I usually come to her with inspiration pics I’ve seen on line and she’ll re-create it, add her touch and make it uniquely mine! She’s quick to text me back and do her best to work with my schedule! She’s friendly and a nice warm person. I don’t go anywhere else!

First timer - thrilled with the service and results. Kimmy did a fabulous job on my SNS/dip mani. Her attention to detail is second to none! Beautiful salon too, in a nice shopping center.
