Very nice and professional they do a great job on your glasses getting them back in a very fast time appointment are always kept love this place

Dr. Ivy Lin is outstanding. She takes sufficient time to fully explain everything pertaining to an eye examination and thoroughly explains contact lens options etc. The best experience I’ve had and highly recommend.

Staff is great! Dr. Pennino was wonderful. She took the time to examine my eyes thoroughly and extended herself to make sure the eyewear and prescription was the right one for me. While I work on a computer all day, she made sure distance was correct and compared the old frames distance to the new prescription. I will be back! =)

Office attendants were very helpful, kind, informative. Doctor Emilie was very thorough with my exam.

Not sure how they have 5 stars. Issues:

1-took 3 weeks to get my contact lens prescription though I called and emailed collectively about 8+ times. The doc said my preferred lenses were discontinued (not true/she then acknowledged this mistake) but still gave me samples.

2-The samples were the wrong size and made everything blurry.

3-I told the office about the bad lenses and asked for my prescription again and again, but the doc went on vacation and noted my preferred lenses were discontinued (incorrect! She was corrected!) so the office didn't want to give me my old prescription again so that created a whole 3-week delay.

4-The doc KNEW I had to drive and go back to my work/computer, she still dilated me sayin it would take 10 mins. 10 mins to dilate but FOUR HOURS of not seeing up close. Not safe (I was driving), not considerate, not caring, not accurate info.

5-Doc also referred me to a specialist bc I asked a question at the end. She then did a "hm.let me see" kind of thing and sent in a referral but said she's pretty sure it's nothing. If I need a specialist why didn't see see that in the 2 hour exam? Was the referral part of a bonus situation? The people she referred me to never called me back so it's all a network of fails. Also- now that I asked for my records so I can go elsewhere, the referral says something different than what she told me.

In all I would say STAY AWAY. I only went here bc of the reviews after my own amazing optometrist in the area became unavailable. I called my original optometrists office after this fiasco and they said they had several complaints about this optometry. I also talked to a neighbor who went to their Marina location and said he got glasses with upside down lenses and had to wait to get them redone.

Definitely a TERRIBLE place. VERY nice staff but the doc's serial mistakes and lack of care are not good.

I'm not going back. Try Pacific EyeCare Center in the network or better doctors. I verified and asked my old doctor's office. I'm going there next year.

I travel an hour one way just to see Dr. Lin. I couldn’t see very well with my prior optometrist and a friend recommended Dr. Lin.and all doctors at Del Rey Optometry. Dr. Lin adjusted my prescription and I see very well now. She is kind, very devoted to her patients and very knowledgeable.

The very best optometrists and support staff I've ever experienced. The eye exam was more thorough than I've had with most opthalmologits.

We have been using Del Rey Optometry for nearly 10 years plus me and my wife. The staff at Del Rey Optometry are professionals, helpful and friendly. The Doctors are well informed, performs thorough eye examinations and specifies the appropriate glasses to solve the problem. I do recommend them for others to use, they would be very happy with their services just like we do.

I’ve been going there for 15 years now. They are always accurate with their prescription, professional and friendly, and walk you through your insurance to give you the best care for your money. I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

I absolutely love Del Rey Optometry! I’ve been going here the past 5 years and will continue to go! If you need an optometrist, seek no more! You found your spot. The optometrist are all phenomenal and knowledgeable! Chris is super helpful with picking out glasses! Def talk to him! The selection they have is awesome!
