Del Taco, Tehachapi CA

It seems almost every time I come to this particular Dell taco, they're either short staffed, and cannot make an order no matter how small, or they've got some excuse to close early.it's Sunday night, and their website says open till 10pm.it's only 8, and they're already turning people away?

I thought for sure they would get my order right. But this is the third and last time I will ever come to this location. I ordered 4 quesadilla shrimp tacos instead I just got the regular shrimp tacos, and my boyfriend got some other weird order. When they asked if I wanted my receipt I said yes only because I had a funny feeling something wasn't going to be right. Instead I never got my receipt and there was no way I was going to wait another hour just to say they got my order wrong. The location in general is just terrible.

They are out of supplies and food most of the time but what they have is good.
Need to be open later than 7: 54pm.
I pulled in at 7: 54pm and was told they close at 8, come back tomorrow.
What?

Dirty kitchen and 30 minutes for “fast food” tacos, with uncooked tortillas. What a joke. Food was soo bad I had to edit my review 3 times. Eat here if you guys want to disappoint yourself.

Usually pretty good food, last time the girl at the drive thru misheard what I ordered and she did not review my order when I paid so I didn't see the wrong items in the bag until I got home, 20 minutes away. The dining room has been closed lately probably because they have no employees and the drive thru is super slow, always has been.

I have gotten an upset stomach a few times after eating there and I think the hamburger meat for the tacos tastes and smells like dog food. The cheeseburgers are ok it seems like they have shrank over the years. I do however like the fries.

The place was clean and it looked nice and the people that worked there were great, but the strawberry shake I had had an extra piece of plastic on top that kind of resembles a lid without the entire center. Like the entire top of the lid was cut out but it still had the big thick plastic ring around the cup. And this un-lid made a rim over the top so you couldn't even sip from the cup you have to stick a little tiny straw into the big giant hole (the "lid"). It's a good Shake but some leaves blew into my Shake on the way back to the car, (I ordered it to go) so I didn't get to finish it anyway. Other than that it was great. I really like Del Taco because I'm a vegetarian and not everything on their menu is meat, plus it's tasty when you're on the go.

Since living here since 2020 I can say this del taco has always had good customer service and the food is always good. Definitely A+

I won't be going back. First, I was going to eat inside, but it was freezing. ALL 4 workers had sweat shirts on. And, there was a loud, high pitched beeping noise that would not stop. I ordered off the Beyond Meat menu. The taco was suppose to have guacamole, but did not. The burrito was some sort of layered bean burrito (ordered off the Beyond Meat menu - I expected the Beyond Meat product). I wasn't given a receipt, so I couldn't verify what they rang up. And, by this time I was sitting outside since it was cold and noisy inside. I didn't go searching for a manager because when I ordered, I didn't see anyone resembling a manager. All workers were acting like children.

The one star is only because they have vegan options.
I come here often for my significant other but if i could id just not even bother, they never get your food right, it takes them forever to even acknowledge your presence inside and drive through. Dont order more then one item or your bound to be there for 10 min just.waiting.and waiting.
I have litterly come back to bring a messed up order; as it happens often, and the girl was laughing how she cant wait to close the lobby. They are rude even when your trying to be nice and just wanting to get your food right this time.
It seems like a waste of time typing this since this business wont learn how to be better, But hopefully for the customers youve been warned to just wait for Taco bell to reopen‍️ and if not dont be sad when its messed up, its to be expected

Good quality Mexican fast food at a affordable price and is much better than Tacos Bell. I've the quesadilla spicy jack cheese and nachos with bean and it was quite tasty for a fast food chain restaurant. Gave it a try.

Omg! Girl Nina, I think she's new was the effing best! So nice and best mint shake I've ever had. I think she just poured it with love or something. Great experience!

For a fast food place of business they really need to try to find a way to speed it up all I had was 15 soft tacos Aveda had them before and it doesn't take 15 minutes

They don’t listen when talking orders! Soda machine does not work properly, when Informed they looked but really did nothing to fix it, Tables in dining room could have been cleaner! Good point they were very nice!

Normally, I love Del Taco. Like other reviews, the service is lacking (like not having fryers turned on) and the hours they're open do not match the signage. I can't tell if it's because they're understaffed but it sure seems like it. I know the one by my old place had no issues like this, and I visit it when I'm the area. I'm giving up on trying to get food from here.

This store has good food (except the french fries which are hardly cooked) and great customer service employees, however, they close way before they are supposed to. I'll stop by at 830pm after work and every single time they are closed. Never fails. I think they're only a breakfast and lunch restaurant now.

This place is always out of food or slow serving I'm going to quit going to it. They always have problems where they can't serve properly
