Del Taco, Bakersfield CA

Man at the drive thru window seemed distracted. Had to repeat the order several times. But everyone has off days.

On October 31,2023 we went to Del Taco and waited 20 minutes in the drive through. Not that it was a long time to us, but our baby was crying her heart out. We didn’t expect to wait that long to be honest. On top of that, we were charged for food we didn’t order, and when we asked about our order in the window this African American women was extremely rude. She was in her late 20s maybe. I only put her description incase management wants to talk to her.

After we put up with her rudeness, we got home and our order was missing items. Also our $8 burrito was not the correct burrito. I am not exaggerating when I say it was 90% beans. So my wife didn’t get her food.

I gave this place one star due to employee attitude. I will not go back if I see her in the drive through. I am too embarrassed about asking about my receipt, and I am a little saddened by this experience at Del Taco.

The tacos were skimpy but fresh. I had my first fish taco and I'd need 10 to be satisfied, due to the size. I know inflation but for $3.00 I expected just a little more cabbage.

New staff so I decided to give this place another shot. The GM is a failure. They prep way too much and hold it which in turn makes people sick from eating old hot food that's been discarded. Del taco on the east side is garbage that will make you sick, Ming also. RIverwalk also. Rosedale also. Only good del taco worth eating at is Gosford. Funny enough I'm over qualified and have applied to be a GM at this place multiple times to try to fix it. They hire other people that keep ruining the place over and over.

Thank you to the sweet girl on the service counter tonight. You are always going above and beyond when the giant orders come through. You make our world a better place

The lady that works on Tuesday evening/nights at the window is absolutely awesome! We buy on average 60 tacos at a time, and she is always helpful and super nice.

DISAPPOINTED
All I wanted was a quick snack so I wouldn’t be too hungry during a meeting. So I decided to get a quesadilla and some fries. When I opened the wrapper, I can see that the cheese was barely melted. I was starving so I had no choice but to eat it but I was definitely not satisfied. Today I bought a fiesta pack for my family and the cheese in my burrito was more melted than the cheese in my quesadilla. How does some cheese in a burrito get more melted than some cheese in a quesadilla? It doesn’t make sense. To make matters worse, my stomach started hurting after dinner today. I tried using the restroom but even still after getting out of the restroom, 20 minutes later my stomach still hurts. I’m so disappointed, I really liked Del Taco and so do my kids. But even my kids have a stomach ache. Definitely not going back. (The photo below is a picture of my quesadilla. I FORGOT THAT THERE WAS A PIECE OF LETTUCE IN IT TOO!)

Great service everything was good once moved a couple cars ahead of me but you know it is what it is everybody orders their things that took a little time but got on my way it was at lunch time so I was in my lunch time crunch thumbs up

I love grabbing a meal on the go from Del Taco! Especially their strawberry lemonade is always the best! The staff is so nice and respectful with excellent customer service

Management and staff are great! I'm a tow truck driver for Fleet Services Towing in town and go there for lunch when I'm in the downtown area. Every time I go there, the atmosphere is like being at grandma's house, and the managers and staff act like one big family. They treat everyone and their regulars as part of it

Only my wife was out for a walk
And I and I were undecided between Taco Bel or Del Taco because the two places are too close together and my wife said she hadn't tried any food.
From the taco that's why we went in and it's good for something quick and on the go

Pretty bad experience. Pulled up to the drive through, the kid says "hang on" ok, no problem im in no hurry.some other dude comes on a minute later and takes my order, I pull up and wait like 5 minutes at the window, dude hands me my bag then disappears. My drink had like 2 ice cubes, the fries were cold, and they shorted me 3 tacos. I love del taco, but today they broke my heart.

Went through the drive thru and order was correct, but when we got home after a long, hot, day. I found a taco full or rancid meat, obviously cooked in rancid oil, and mushy, rotten, tomatoes! I realize this isn't fine dining, but to serve rotten food is not good business.

Order the dell tacos much better than the regular tacos alot of meat and cheese and it won't give you a clean out like the taco bell.

Wonderful experience! Maria is a great manager, she went above and beyond to help me. I ordered in the drive thru, went home, and was missing my soft tacos. When I called, Maria was so kind and wanted to fix it. She really took care of us. I will definitely be returning to this location!
