Denica's Real Food Kitchen reviews
18Worst breakfast experience I've ever had, why would anyone go here when you have a proper sit down option for less? Food was super overpriced and after giving the lowest tip amount possible we still had to find our own silverware, sit outside in the cold and clean our own table from the customers before us. Would absolutely not recommend eating here.
Great group of caring employee, food is delicious plus they have complementary warm chips and salsa yumm
This place used to be better. Now it's like a self service restaurant. You have to get in line, order your food and drinks (you have to get your own drinks) and find a table, if you are lucky you will find a clean one. If not you'd have to ask one of the employees to clean it so you can eat there. There is absolutely NO service at the table so make sure you didn't miss anything when you order at the beginning. Orange juice used to be freshly made but not anymore, now it's pre-made waiting in the fridge. Food is nothing like before. If you are hungry it will fill you up since the portions are good, but if you are looking for good flavor, good service and good atmosphere, then this is not the place.
A bit expensive for 3 stack pancake for $22. Taste is just okay. We love the Ube Coconut Macaroons and the Ube cookie.
I scarfed down the food too fast before I remembered to take a picture. I was visiting for a funeral and are not from the area. Therefore going back is not an option. But if I am in the area again, it will be mandatory to come by here. Great food, beautiful people. Nice and clean. I do recommend.
Excellent and creative food. Spot on service. We enjoyed both meals we had at Denica’s. Highly recommend. They have take out and delivery. Very clean.
A little confused since it was our first time here. Felt a little rushed to look over menu since I guess you have to order at the counter, pay, then be seated. Service was great! Food was ok and way too pricey! I do like the variety of beverages though.
10/10 scrumptious brunch. Highly recommend the stuffed French toast and the Guava pancakes! I would fly back to California for these Guava pancakes
The little stars is because the food and atmosphere do not match the price whatsoever. The food is decent but the flavor is good because they're adding sugar to everything not because it is a high quality. To add two strips of bacon and eggs to your meal is $9 on top of the 20 plus dollar item that you already ordered so it's an average of $30 per plate you don't have a waiter or waitress in case anything is wrong, for being such a self-service based Diner the prices do not match.
Great options for both breakfast and lunch. Casual atmosphere. Place your order at the counter and the food is brought to your seat.
This is an awesome place! We tried several dishes and cookies and they were all fantastic. Definitely worth checking out! Every employee was friendly, attentive, and professional. This place is a new favorite! The only downside is it's a few hours from where I live.
Fried chicken was excellent and the Strawberrys were nice and fresh! Waffles were light and a perfect base for the toppings. Great balance of flavors, especially the chicken with the syrup and butter. Overall a delicious breakfast/lunch.
We ordered a BLT. When we opened the box, we had to hunt for each part of our sandwich within the mound of lettuce. The bacon was obviously made the day before and chewy Tomatoes smashed. Disappointed!
3.5 stars
You have to order at the counter then get your own water. Also, if you buy coffee, you have take it to your own table, but they still want a tip? Several tables were messy and dishes sat there 10 minutes after we sat down. Food was okay. I do have to say, their espresso is REALLY GOOD!
I love this local successful restaurant. They always treat me like I'm a VIP. You can't buy that type of customer service.
I stopped here on my down from the Bay Area to LA. I was hungry and this place was close to the freeway so I check it out. This place is unique. From the looks of it, it's known for its sweats (cookies, donuts and pies) but it is a full blown restaurant. Another interesting aspect to this place is if you dine in, you can self serve yourself drinks, chips and salsa while you wait for your order. The reps were also well mannered and looked like they were constantly working.
I went when it was busy. I liked the breakfast burrito. Service was fine. The cookies. I grabbed a few on my way out. And oh my! I need to go back and get more! They are soft and big and so yummy! Wish I took a picture!
