Denny's, San Leandro CA

I have to be completely honest here and say that the waitress didn't know what the hell she was doing. Kept getting orders mixed up, tickets weren't correct (I ate with a table of 7), and took about 12 minutes to get served compared to others who walked in and get served with their 5 minutes of being there (wasn't overly busy). Food wasn't terrible but it wasn't good either, seemed rushed for the most part (scrambled eggs looked more powered than anything, Santa Fe skillet was over 45% overcooked). Really a hit or miss whenever you come here, be mindful of what your ordering & keep track of the amount of time it takes you or your guests to be sat and served.

Our waitress was very attentive. Whoever was waiting the tables in the left back side, the service was great. The wait wasn't too bad for it being a Sunday morning. I've been to other EMPTY Dennys that take way too long to sit and wait on you.

Dennys is Dennys currently they don't have chicken strips, wings or Salmon. They do have pretty good coffee.

Denny's in San Leandro. Its Great. I have friends in SL. Like to get something quick. Take over friends house. Have a few drinks. Just Wonderful. Great location.

Our server put our food down and never came back to our table, had to ask another server to find her for our check. The food was just ok

Make sure you flip the menu til the last page, because senior discount breakfast is there to save $$$ if you have 55+ people with you.

Denny's is Denny's. That's why I go there. I know the menu. I like the choices I have. The staff here were very nice. It's not a 5 star restaurant but it is clean, has a decent selection of entrees and it is reasonably priced.

Came here on a Tuesday morning was not crowded at all food came out less than 20 minutes our server was very polite

OUR TABLE WAS JUST CLEANED AND THE TABLE WAS STICKY. I HAD TO CLEAN IT ON MY OWN. KAREN WAS FRIENDLY AND NICE. THE FOOD WAS GOOD.

The place smells when you walk in which is a turn off to patron so I did not even order any food

I ordered 2 breakfast meals. I forgot to ask for extra butter and syrup. The young lady that took my order put extra in the bag. For me

We waited over an hour for our food. People that came in after is got their food before us!

Mins only to see the server go and waited on a couple that came after I did. I will not be returning to this location EVER again.

This was some of the BEST food I’ve ever had. From the moment the plates hit the table I was unable to contain the hungry beast within the deep depths of my soul. Every bite felt like a taste of heaven. From the sweetness of the buttermilk pancakes to the savory goodness of the sausages. I will go here for the rest of my life. Every day I thank God for putting me on this Earth at the same time as Denny’s.

The food was excellent and our server was very nice but the food took forever to come even with the place being mostly empty. I guess that's the sacrifice you make when you go to an all night eatery.

Our family was pleasantly surprised by the fresh flavors and attentive service this morning, even to the detail regarding the temperature of my tea water! I enjoyed the Red White and Blue breakfast: 2 scrambled eggs, (they were fluffy; not runny, not dry - just right) extra crispy bacon and hash browns and 2 large pancakes with blueberries in the batter, a surgery drizzle similar to a cinnamon bun topping and fresh sliced strawberries - the pancakes were amazing- no need for syrup. FYI For my weight watchers friends only 22 points (no need for butter, syrup or whipped cream, I shared a piece of bacon with my MIL, and brought home one pancake to enjoy later). Today we celebrated my MIL birthday and thanks to our server Michel B.and the chefs at Denny’s we had a very pleasant experience. Thank you?

Finally get to have a steak and unfortunately I get a burnt shoe that taste like cardboard! I call them and can't understand a word the manager is saying. It took 45 minutes until I went up and said is my order ready yet, than they can't find my order that My boyfriend paid for already. The waitress had to ring up my order again. Never order food from here at pick-up without looking to see what you got. I ordered medium rare steak with mashed potatoes and gravy and zucchini $27.00 dollars later and it's burnt. You owe me a steak dinner Dennys! I expect to hear from you to make this right!

Denny's is like our safe option - when you can't decide what you want to eat or where you want to go, just go here; you can't get wrong. The place is good, with a varied menu and you get a good portion size for the money you spend. Tried the cake mix shake for the first time (was feeling kiddish/ adventurous) and loved it to order another one: D Do try that if you are here.
