Denny's, La Mesa CA

Friday 25th 2021, I arrive with my wife and we wait for 5 minutes until finally the person in charge said the wait is 20 minutes to be seated when we ónly saw 3 tables in the dining room. I feel that the mánager in charge was very rude and un profesional. The young lady with Long hair. Once again very un profesional serving food this way. Not coming to this restaurant

Great service, and good food. I did a take out order at about 3am. My food was ready right on time, and waiter was very nice and professional. When I got home and ate, it was good. I ordered a breakfast, the biscuits with sausage gravy, hash browns, and 2 eggs over easy. I also ordered a cake batter milkshake which they made upon my arrival so that it didn't have the potential to be melted partially had I arrived past the time my food was ready. I greatly appreciated that. For it being 3 in the morning, the staff there seemed to be on top of their game. Overall, a good experience.

Fish and bread were great, the mashed potatoes were cold and the broccoli had pepper flakes making them to spicie

Service was great. Got to pick where i wanted to sit because it was not too busy. Waiter was fast and on top of his orders. Coffe stayed hot lemonade cold and pancakes were great.

Parking was quite an experience. It was very full. Waiting time for us was about 15 minutes. Food was good. Waitress was good. Overall, a good experience.

High quality American comfort food like you would expect from this iconic chain. Their Strawberry Banana Smoothies, and Mango? Smoothies are great, and the french fries are always perfectly cooked and seasoned. The staff gives it the warm, inviting feel that Denny's is all about. Thanks!

Good burgers and food service, but they need to fix the restrooms so customers don't have any restrictions.

Employee where smoking infront of entry to establishment. Instead of taking there smoke break away from entry. We had to go opposite way to get in.and when waiter came to take the other he smell badly of cigarette not professional never will go there again.really disappointed

It was good I had a nice time waiting for my food the bathroom smells a little bit but everything else was okay thank you three stars

The wait was to long 25 minutes to wait for food for take out. And it wasn't full of customers so the staff weren't prepared to get customers not waiting for take out food too long and moving, So not getting food there during the weekends!

They need to pick up the massive amount of trash in and around the parking lot. My wife and I almost didn't go inside because we were disgusted by all the trash.

Nothing like gong to a place where you are greeted by name. One of my buddies apparently visits this and another Dennys fairly often. Great service!

Denny's has been a household favorite in my family for GENERATIONS. Never have we ever gone back to the same Denny's location 3 times for 1 order. We're really not the type of people to nitpick the minor issues. But did your kitchen staff really expect to pass off this Scrambled Egg Sandwich as the WORLD FAMOUS MOON'S OVER MY HAMMY!? My friend who originally came to pick up the order may have been a bit peeved after the 2nd attempt to pick up the order failed. But if we knew the failed attempts by the staff to pester her into cancelling the order would result in this level of pettiness? Makes me regret not taking the wait staffs recommendation. I didn't think it possible for someone to throw so much shade that I'd get frostbite in the middle of summer.

It's ok, but really understaffed, and watch when you get milkshakes? Both of mine spilled from dual cracks in the see through cups? Eh, at least had waterproof seat covers. I'd go again.

This location definitely needs employees. They are hiring. Needs to be cleaned inside and out. Food was okay. I would recommend Take out or delivery for now.

Just had the worst experience ever at one of my favorite restaurants. My waitress, instead of doing her job was flirting with a male friend sitting at the counter. Not once did she check on any of her customers, not once. Once I finished my meal I had to ask for my check. On top of that she tried to charge me for the wrong table, saying that she was distracted by a male coworker.worst experience ever. I know alot of businesses are in need of employees, but as a public Family restaurant you still have standards that your employees should uphold. The same as the ones we as your customers have appreciated in our choice of one of our favorite family restaurant.
