Denny's, Modesto CA

Excellent service by the server this morning at America's local diner. The food was as expected and made to order correctly on a few specific details like "crispy" bacon. Homelessness issue in this area and a cheap motel adjacent makes for less of an atmosphere. Booth upholstery needs updating.

We stood inside the front door for 15 minutes and never even got seated. It was so hot in there we were sweating. We finally just left.

Placed an order at 12: 30 am went to pickup at 1, got there store was locked nobody inside and phone number didn't work

For a place that is supposed to be open 24 hours a day they sure are closed at night a lot

No air conditioning, very unjust for the hard workers in this unbelievable heat! Who ever owns this building should be aware of this issue. It's been like this since last year

Had the best mac n cheese I had to date.but service was ok if you want to get your own menu and to go box.other then that great had a nice dinner

Food was as good as I expected, but the music was so loud, I thought we walked Into a disco! Plus the music selection was obviously catered to the very young.

Always understaffed, so the server is stressed. Wait time is longer because of staff shortage.

I've been eating at Denny's for over 60 years this was probably the worst meal I've ever had. Sirloin steak was salty I had to scrape most of the outside off before I could eat. The tomatoes were terribly bland. The vegetables were decent until I found a hair in them.
The waitress was working by herself and did not have time to get us coffee.
On the whole a very bad experience.

A really nice place with a huge menu ranging from breakfast to dinner and a whole bunch of snacks. The food is quite good and prepared on site by the cook. The icing on the cake, our waitress, Feliz, was the sweetest person in the world and gave us a great time.)

The food was not all that good I went to a Denny's in Modesto off of 5 points and the food was excellent but this other didn't use that I tried out that's near Salida I won't go there again.

It’s Denny’s sorry to say but the food is still lacking flavor. They have a lot on there menu but it’s a whole lot of blah, bland. The staff was very courteous and the sang happy birthday to our 22 year old son. Which was very cool. If they could get some better tasting food it would be great.

My best friend was in town, this was my last chance to see her so Mom and I went to have breakfast with her and her fam. There was a bunch of us and only 1 waitress and she was amazing she did it all and every order was right. She kept coffees full and iced tea on the tables. I bet she was glad to say goodbye as we left. LoL

Split the 9 grain breakfast.
Food was served in three tiers, so temperatures suffered.
Staff was on point, with follow up visits and re-fills.
Would have been nice if ALL of our meal was not served over a 7 minute period. There was only three tables present.
Something for you to work on.
Would I recommend, No. Not because it was awful, but that because it was not a memorable dining experience.

Incredible staff, short wait, delicious food. We had the Spicy Moon Over My Hammy, the Brown Sugar Whole Grain Pancakes, and a Strawberry Lemonade. Can’t wait to be back!

It's just like every Danny's. But I appreciated the gal who allowed me to use the restroom despite it being off limits to noncustomers. I have eaten here in the past, and it's always good fare. A little more costly, then I'd like being as how you used to get a grand slam for Hella cheap. But everywhere has gone up in price, so no surprise there, I guess. The staff is attentive and quick.

My grandson and I had lunch there, so we could people-watch.and we weren't disappointed.always something interesting to see in that location.

The meat was not cooked like I had asked and the size of my portion was that of a child. Seems like the amount of food served has decreased by half. The prices are getting too high and decreasing the portions sizes too much will not be going back.
