Denny's, Sunnyvale CA

I met one of the most amazing and hardest working servers ever! The food was great but her service was the better! After seeing how hard she works I double tipped her and wished to do more. She's a beautiful African American woman with a heart of gold

Server was friendly, but very slow. I was the only one in the place and it took so long to even get a cup of coffee. And over 10 minutes waiting to get hot cakes.

Absolutely the best Denny's I have ever visited. The staff was amazing, polite, friendly, and humorous. It felt like we were eating with family.

The food was delicious just like homemade you guys. Pancakes were light, fluffy, and perfectly cooked.

Of course, it was busy due to the holiday, but that did not stop the 10 star service we received.

Anything we asked for we got it and with a smile. I wish all the franchises could visit this establishment for a training. I am sure the manager would be more than happy.

The food always delicious fresh I love the burgers the restaurant always clean, great service.

The French toast was awful. Didn't even appear to be egg dipped. Was just like toasted bread on my plate. Returned it and left.

The ice taste like sink water.
Dr Pepper, was flat tasted like water.
The burger was nasty and meat was red.

Terrible service. I came to get online order to "814 Ahwanee Ave, Sunnyvale, CA 94085". There were 3 people working on front. There was no customer. I just waited about 10 minutes without being asked what I want. They see me, but not interested in me. Then there were 2 more customers coming. Then I was serviced. Food was ready, I just waited for nothing. I dont know how this guys working in such low quality of service. 04 December 2020. About 11.50 pm.

The food wasn't hot enough. And wasn't as good as the kast time i ate there. The service was slow. And the waiter didnt come bk eough to check on us.

I, was DISCRIMINATED AGAINST FROM A HISPANIC WOMAN. I WAS STANDING IN LINE, WAITING PIENTENTLY, WHEN SHE CLEARLY HELPED THE FAMILY, THAT GOT IN FRONT OF ME, SHE CHECKED THEM OUT, AND THEN TURNED AROUND, WITH OUT EVEN LOOKING MY WAY.

Food was good, waiting time was a little long for a 6 year old but it wasn't that bad. Waitresses were very nice and cordial.

The food is what you expect from Denny's and ranges from delicious to meh. The service was slow and inattentive. The tables are divided among the servers so if your server happens to be busy the other staff will not help you. This place is nothing to get excited about but a decent place for locals to eat a reliably mediocre meal.

Great staff and awesome food. Next time i will surely return. I plan to have desert next time: D

It's a decent Denny's, but you're better off going to the awesome Hobees next door unless you're trying to pinch your pennies or you've got like a weirdly specific craving for a grand slam. Not sure why Denny's and Hobees are right next to each other; seems bad for both of them since they overlap so much.

Super slam is only 6 bucks & comes with 2 pancakes, bacon, sausage, eggs how you like, and hash browns!

Food was good when we finally got it. Service is poor. Took 10 minutes before I even got a glass of water. And I had to go to register to ask for that. And when we got done we sit at the table for 13 minutes waiting for our bill. Need to training classes for their servers. BADLY

This place was not even worth rating.there were at be 5 tables occupied.it took us 45 minutes to get our food.and some ppl came in with a bunch of younger teens and they were told they had an hr wait! They wouldn't even seat these ppl! Wth kind of 24 hr Dennys is this

Went to Dennys on 7/22. One of the worst service I ve experienced. There were 4 servants serving the folks we had to wait for 1/2 he even before we could get seated. We ordered omelette, smelt like someone had puked on it servers were stinking and food smelt horrible. The servants didn't even bother to clear the tables and were left unlearned for the entire time we had were there. Never visit this location, unless you are homeless

Consistant good food getting more pricey than in the past but still quick and tasty. The gluten free English muffin was the best I have ever had.

Our crew was working a double shift with a 2 hour break in between shifts. Denny's remains a place you can count on for a good hearty meal, reasonably priced, and service with a smile. Especially convenient when dining on the go with 5 or more guest. The variety of meal choices practically guarentee everyone's cuisine choice will be satisfied.

I think this is a good place for quick bites and great breakfast when you feel like going out to eat with friends or family to have a nice breakfast
