Love the simplicity of the place. Plenty of space, good beer, and the chicken sausage with hatch chili is good.

Great german place to hang especially outside in the courtyard.simple clean and a cultural place. Prost! Haha

Great selection of beers from all over the world. Food is good as well. Don't miss the downstairs area. The murals on the walls are pretty awesome down there.

Ambiance is on point, excellent mixed drinks and the bartender was extremely efficient and courteous. Give the Polish sausage a go, not spicy by any standard other than American.

The best selection of German beer in the Pasadena area. I'd like to think I consider myself a German beer connoisseur (possibly bordering on addict.wait, no, I'm not that bad, am I?), and this place will give you your Deutsche Bier fix! A fantastic medieval decor inside makes you feel like you're in a castle dining hall. The only thing that would improve it is to have traditional German music playing, it would make the vibe/atmosphere completely perfect.

Super chill place, Gabe and Andy are my favorite bartenders. They serve great frankfurters and brautwursts and a wide selection of drinks. If you decide to become a regular, treat the staff well and you can expect to be respected the same

It's dark, damp and stinky. Think pirates of the carribean at Disneyland. They didn't carry Tanqueray, sexton whiskey, patron or Guinness. So you can decide if that's important to you. Crowded like a typical bar with a lengthy wait time to get a drink. I heard the tacos were really good, although I didn't have any myself.

More Bavarian than really German. I am German so I know. Fun to have such a bar in Pasadena though. Hefeweizen was delicious!

Great service! Nice and friendly staff! Food was great. Wiessen Bier was great too! Definitely will visit here again when we travel back to Pasadena!
