2 Do not stay here!
The spa doesn’t work, the refrigerator doesn’t work, the washing machine doesn’t work and there was bugs in my bedsheets.
The host tried to help but came up short!
Even the spa tech that came out stated he has been telling the host to get a new heater but he hasn’t.
Yet the ad states “working spa”.
Now we having to jump through hoops to get a refund from AirBnB.
0/10 recommend, also AirBnB removed my review so I hope others see this one!
Edit since the owner wants to go there:
- the spa heater never worked. Luckily I was in the desert and we still hopped in but had to get out because it got COLD.
- This owner is going to try to get away with false advertisement. Don’t be the next victim
- AirBNB refunded me
- also this host will post your personal information on FaceBook. BEWARE
Please do not stay at La Desert Casa, the pictures are far from reality alone with a host who is distrustful. Once I got to my stay, I wanted to go in the pool. The pool was filled less than half way and dirty, took 30 mins to fill and clean, also had to call host and ask to fill.later I went to turn on the spa only to find out two hours later it was still not working. Had to call host again, he said he would send someone to fix it.that took till the last day of our stay and the guy who came to fix it said its been broken and he's told the owner he cant fix it multiple times.
Went to cook dinner and all my food and spoiled due to his refrigerator not working.spent $60 on meat, milk, and chess, all went bad.
Went to wash clothes last day, dryer broken, called host, told us to use another dryer on the property in a back house. The whole stay was not was we expected. Now the host is harassing us by posting our picture, email, and phone number. 0 ourt of 10.
