Desert Deli - Award winning Boar's Head brand sandwich shop! reviews
15Loved the California club perfectly delicious! Love supporting veteran owned businesses, top tier sandwich great staff super friendly definitely will be going back
Sandwich was good but customer service was not.didn’t feel comfortable with the interaction with the employees. I like to feel appreciated when I’m giving My hard earned dollars even if the food was good, Also I am a veteran. Didn’t feel comfortable with the interaction with the employees for this reason don’t think I’ll be back
One of the best restaurants in the AV! My sister got the California Cheesteak which was phenomenal! I got a Reuben, my favorite, and it was so delicious! Boar's Head corned beef and pastrami, the bread was fluffy and warm and perfectly buttered.
I eat here regularly and never am dissatisfied almost tried everything but the flying falcon is my favorite.
A great sandwich. I stopped in one Sunday after church to try this place out. The bread is fresh, the meat and vegetables are delicious, and the service is fast and friendly. I would highly recommend dropping by if you are in the mood for a sandwich.
I've been hearing about this place on 97.7 KTPI and decided to come try it. I ordered the Pantom Italian without lettuce. I was not disappointed. I will definitely be coming back!
Used to love the sides they served but the portions have been cut in half and don't taste as good. To be honest, the macaroni salad tastes like something you buy from Sam's Club in bulk. The 6 oz container was $4.49. That's outrageous for yucky macaroni salad. Sandwiches are good but that's really only because of the Boars Head deli meats they use.
The Hungry Italian was amazing, loved it, great meats, bread was nice and fresh, the spiciness was on point. The macaroni salad was great too, great selections of subs and deli's
So far this is the best place for sandwiches that I have found in my area of Lancaster. You can order online and or call ahead or order in store. They use boar's Head meat and cheeses which will make your sandwich taste much better. This is a high quality meat and cheese. This isn't your store bought deli sliced turkey and cheeses. I also like their potato salad. Very good. Ordered online went in was ready for me picked it up and out I went. Parking right in front. And there's evening places you can eat outside if you prefer. Highly recommended.
Love supporting Veteran owned businesses. US Army vet myself 5th Infantry Divsion. This place has unbelievable sandwiches and salad sides. People commenting that the sandwiches are overpriced. If you're not familiar with Boar's Head products, they are about quality. This is not your local Subway. If you want cheaper price, then go find a Subway or Blimpies sub shop then. The staff were great and very knowledgeable. I heard a radio ad, (BOB FM) and that's what made me try this place. I was not disappointed. Quality ingredients used. I will definitely be back.
The pastrami sandwich was good, cost $15.00 plus tax a bit pricey but it didn't/ did not have enough meat for that amount, brown mustard was used but I Love yellow mustard on my pastrami sandwich so I asked for some and that made the sandwich taste much better for me, It had plenty of pickles like I like it. The bun used was absolutely delicious!
Deli-cious! I had a Hungry Italian, wife had the Chipotle Chicken Salad, and kids shared a Raptor. Everything tasted great and super fresh. The service was excellent and It's conveniently located. Highly recommend!
Delicious sandwiches, if you do pay a bit for it. Not my every day lunch spot, but I'll be back.
Ate here for the first time today at the recommendation of a friend. Absolutely hands down sandwich up amazing. I had the Mushroom Cheesesteak. Holy cow, beautiful done, not too much mushrooms to meat ratio. Piping hot, freshly baked buns, with a wonderful pepper flavor that welcomely lingers in my mouth as devoured the Sandwich. Super kind and prompt staff. 7/5 stars. Well done. Will return and return.
