Desert Sun Resort, Palm Springs CA

This was our first visit but will not be our last. Clean, well cared for grounds. Other guests were open and friendly. I wish the cafe had been open. A cold beer and hamburger late afternoon would have been a nice addition.

This is our favorite accommodation in the world. Front desk staff are superb, and grounds are pristine. Rooms are spotless, and room staff are lovely.

From the moment we arrived, we were warmly greeted by your attentive staff, who provided exceptional hospitality throughout our entire stay. Their genuine smiles, professionalism, and eagerness to assist promptly made us feel right at home.
The impeccable accommodations at Desert Sun Resort exceeded our already high expectations. Not only was our room pleasing to the eye, but it also showcased a pristine level of cleanliness and attention to detail. The serene atmosphere, coupled with the breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape, instantly set the tone for a truly immersive and rejuvenating experience.
One aspect that truly stood out was the exceptional level of service we received from your resort's team members. From the front desk to the restaurant staff (Jocelyne and Joanna), every encounter was marked with friendliness, efficiency, and a sincere desire to ensure our stay was nothing but perfect. We were particularly impressed by the staff's ability to anticipate our needs, going above and beyond in making thoughtful recommendations and ensuring all our requests were promptly fulfilled.
The resort's facilities were equally exceptional, providing everything necessary for a truly memorable getaway. We thoroughly enjoyed the well-maintained swimming pool, which offered both relaxation and invigorating opportunities, while the jacuzzi provided a much-needed indulgence from the rat-race we call life!
Furthermore, we must express our gratitude for the culinary delights we discovered at the resort's restaurant. The menu showcased a variety of delectable dishes, carefully prepared by your talented chef (Roberto). Each meal was perfect!
Lastly, we cannot emphasize enough the idyllic location and natural surroundings of Desert Sun Resort. The serene beauty of the surrounding desert, coupled with the tantalizing colors of the sunsets, provided an awe-inspiring backdrop for our stay. The tranquility and seclusion offered us an unmatched sense of calm and serenity we had been seeking.
Overall, our experience at Desert Sun Resort was fantastic, largely due to the exceptional dedication of your staff, the impeccable accommodations, the outstanding service, and the picturesque setting.

I rarely write reviews. And the fact I'm willing to pen one for a nudist place shows how much my experience meant to me. This day pass was one of my best purchases ever. Theresa was professional on the phone and even better in person. Joanna, the bartender/server is stellar. 1000% great at her job! More importantly, she has a heart of gold and judges no one. She's going to excel anywhere she ever goes in life. It's an honor to know her.

The environment was top notch. Lunch was excellent! Fellow guests were simply lovely and welcoming to a solo male. Can't wait to come back. It was my 1st time. Recent transplant to the area.

Blessings to the entire staff. Professional, efficient, hard working. You do hospitality very very well. Every single one of you! Yay, you!

Not very LGBQT+ friendly. Cafe waitress was rude and guests told me I dont belong there and to leave. The cafe prices are absurd for drinks and a salad cost me $120.

Very peaceful, clean rooms, immaculate grounds, warm pool and very nice hot tub. Pools open 24 hours

Loss of access to the upper pools and elimination of the exercise room are very unfortunate. The rules surrounding no longer allowing use of personal alcohol beverages is a major downside. This change is to force guests to have to buy alcoholic beverages only from the resort cafe, with very limited selection and lack of creativity. This is a major change dampening guests' stay and enjoyment. It also likely had something to do with the loss of the former relationship between the resort and the full-time condominium residents, with guests migrating into the condominium owners area due to the new alcohol restrictions, and causing increased problems for the owners. Due to this loss of access to the saltwater pool and jacuzzi in the condominium area, as well as the elimination of the exercise facilities, we shortened our intended first stay from three days to just overnight, and canceled our return trip altogether. The most disappointing part is we were not informed about all these changes when we called to do our bookings. All very unfortunate changes that have adversely affected the entire operation and feel of what was once a longstanding, unique, and exceptional facility.

Fantastic place to relax clothes free! Cafe has delicious food and drinks. Check the cafe hours ahead of time, not always open. We loved the quiet pool and massages. One of our favorite weekend getaways.
2022 update-still our fav sunny spot to get away!
