Some of the best pulled pork I've ever had! And the basket was delicious, as well. And! You can just get meat by the pound. Great for keto! Oh, the baked potato casserole was yummy, too!

Place had really good food and the people were working were really nice and didnt take long at all.would go out of my way to come again

The owner is so sweet, he let us try the brisket before we decided to order it and it was delicious! I went to the restaurant with a party of about 12! And they were really accommodating for how compact it is. We went right when they opened at 11 on a Sunday and the food was out really quickly. Great flavors, decent pricing, will be back again- just with my husband next time lol

Oh! And make sure you look at the daily deals! Plus kids eat free on Sundays so that helped too

Hidden BBQ gem of Rancho San Diego! I'm hesitant to even post a review, because I kinda want to keep it all to myself BUT they deserve for you to discover their delicious food and great hospitality, so here ya go: My husband and teen LOVE Dickey's! While I'm usually more of a salad or fish gal, I gladly join them on their Dickey's outings. Everything we've eaten has been fantastic! I asked them to tell me their favorites and the boys struggled. From the brisket to the meat falling right off the bone of the ribs to the dip sandwich and cornbread. I'm not one to take photos of my food but I had to share the size of my yummy brisket chilli baker. Move over Phil's! We've got a new BBQ king in town!

We were looking for BBQ restaurants in our area. Tried a place close to us were very disappointed! We went to Dicky's It was Absolutely Amazing will be back many more times! Worth a little drive we have the brisket Dip so Delicious! Thank you

It's not rudy's but for san Diego standard it's great and I don't say this lightly. Coming from the south we bbq a lot, henceforth the reason for this review. Taste will very from person to person but on a standard level it's great I personally like getting food here the service is alright and the beans hit once you put bbq sauce on those bad boys. The pull pork is not dry once again when you put the bbq sauce on it slather the sauce. Ok on the key point what makes the bbq sauce they have on hand great is simply because it's sweet and warm. Some times simple is best.
Please enjoy, you might be surprised.

Possibly I ordered the wrong item. The friend I went with enjoyed his sandwich but mine was not satisfying in any way. Ill choose another bbq venue next time.

I do deliveries from here and the customers love ️ the food. The employees are nice and always do a great job having the orders ready quickly.

The pork ribs were absolutely delicious. The meat fell off the bone. The sides were fresh and tasty. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal. We will definitely recommend Dickey's Barbecue Pit to all our family and friends.

Good options, great taste, only 4 stars because the meat could have been a bit more hot, but I'm not saying it was cold, and I'm glad that you can put bbq sauce to your liking, and not just smothered in it and you probably ended up not eating it, great job

Honestly for the price I paid for two dainty dishes (35 dollars) I could have went to a nice sit down restaurant and they had the nerve to ask for a tip when I am just picking up and order. Two for 25 was somewhat worth the price - barely - but now that they took that promotion away 35 dolllars is waaaay to over priced and I won’t step foot in this place again.

Food is very tastey, but for the price you pay the portions are ridiculously small. Beans and macaroni are cheap, a spoonful of each for 30 dollars for 2 people is not something we will go back again for. Quite a shame we’ve finally coupe of times now and the tiny portions are standard not a one off.

Replying to Cameron below: Yes, make your potions decent sizes or charge half the money for the half potions you serve.

I stopped by this location and tried the chicken for the first time. Normally I’m all about the pork but the chicken here really deserves more credit.

The bbq was alright. I ordered a 6 bone pork half rack, a 1/4 sausage and a Mac and cheese. The ribs were okay, the sausage was pretty good and the Mac and cheese was good as well. It’s just a bit pricey as I paid almost $30 just for a small portion. The customer service was great.
