Dickey's Barbecue Pit, Visalia CA

If you want ok bbq and fast dickeys is the place. In my opinion it’s not the best bbq. I do way better bbq I smoke my meats on a real off set and with real wood.

Need additional staff during lunch. Went at 12, understaffed made it uncomfortably slow to get food. Was kinda cold by the time we sat down to eat.

Let's start off with the bread it just tastes like 7 Eleven hot dog bread. The macaroni and cheese taste so store bought that I'm pretty sure I can go to the store and pick one randomly and it will probably taste like it. The fries are actually so good that I was kind of shocked considering the rest of the things I was eating. And finally i got the burnt ends and I personally despise barbecue sauce so I did not get it the meat should be good enough to eat on its own right? Well apparently not it was Bland and for being burnt didn't taste that burnt

Unfortunately I got food poisoning, I ate burnt brisket ends, something didn't taste right, later that night was awful.

Disgusting, ordered 3 baked potatoes all tasted undercooked, hardly any cheese or sourcream on them. Mac and cheese side was gross and tasted old, the rib I didn't eat because you can see how they packaged it, just put it in a wrapped that wasn't even closed when I received it. The only food that didn't get a complaint was my daughter's beans.

Place was clean, people were very nice. I hadn't been there before in Visalia's restaurant but have eaten it before. I wanted to try the Burnt Ends and they didn't have any ready or at all I guess. So we went with the 2 kinds of chicken, potato salad, and a piece of toast and 2 drinks. It's a little pricey and you don't get a lot of food for your buck, and the potato salad was sweet not liking it that much. The sweet tea wasn't sweet.so she had to fix it. But it tasted good the second time around. So not sure if will be back or not. We got some gift cards so we decided to use them.

I called in and placed an order I wanted three potatoes and they advised me that they only had two left so I made my order with those 2 and a 1/2 rack of ribs and when I got there the same guy that took my order told me that they just sold my two potatoes to an online order Then ask me if he can help me with anything else I am very disappointed in this establishment for having good food but poor customer service I drove across town wasted time and money the guy was lucky that I’ve humbled myself over the years I will never go here again while the one in Visalia no thank you.apparently placing an order over the phone doesn’t necessarily mean you’ll get your order when you get there.

Went for my interview today I think it went well, I hope I get it. Horacio the owner was very nice. Thank you for allowing me to come in to interview with you.

In my opinion every town needs a go too barbecue pit this is it thumbs up. You can always rely on the Regularity If you don't want to do-it-yourself You won't go wrong here.

Brisket is so dry I can't even eat it. Its like chewing carpet. I definitely need a refund.

Food was old, cashier was over zealous to carryout customers (no fork, spoon or napkins) and management was pretentious. Stating that they "did not know how to refund monies spent back to my card". I'm not even sure I would dine in at this facility.

Delicious.good portions.great prices. I enjoy every time I go, haven't been disappointed yet.

Barbecue pork sandwich was very tasty, though mine was full of bone bits. Good beans and coke slaw. Don't bother with the chocolate chip cookie - $3 for a 2" disc. Nah.

The wife and I went down for a pulled pork barbecue sandwich which was excellent. Nice seating and lots of choices.

Tried This Place For The First Time. Great Food. I Had The Baked Potato W Pulled Pork. It Was Perfect

Great food, great price and nice staff. Everything we ordered exceeded our expectations. Can't get better bbq!

Called in for a pick up order, was told “we’re closing soon so” with a long pause. Just an awkward experience.

Food was good. Will be going again before we move and will be looking for a Dickey's in Missouri

I've been in this place several times to pick up food for delivery. It smells so dang good I had to go try it for myself! Really glad I did.
