Great in store selection usually not the case anymore it's nice to be able to walk and buy something and not have to order it and wait

Katelyn, Babette & Christian were very helpful today.had called Oxnard location ahead of time to check stock on a GPS unit for golfers, they physically got them & held 24hrs for me. Was an enjoyable afternoon of shopping for birthday gifts for Golfer, lots of good stuff and great selection of running shoes too.

Golf department SUCKS! NOT the guy who works in the department but the management who never seems to have crossed trained anyone else! This has happened on 3 different occasions including today Friday told ONE CLUB regrip would take three days to! I can regrip a club with your equipment in THREE minutes!

For the most part all was well, the only thing was there wasn't anyone in the footwear department for assistance. I had to go up front and ask for an employee to be sent back to footwear to answer a few questions and help find the running shoes and size I was looking for because the shoe boxes had been so disorganized by customers not putting them back properly.

Customer service is awful. I waited 10+ min to get help for a shoe in a different size. Watched the single employee working the shoe section hurry back and forth between customers and the back area where they have extra shoes in different sizes. I was in no hurry so I didn’t mind waiting. When he finally remembered about me he came over and I asked if I could get a size 13 ASICS gel kayano shoe as there were none on the floor. He declined and said there were no extra shoes in the back. I asked if I could get a different ASICS shoe in size 13 just to make sure the size was right and he again said they didn’t have shoes of any size in the back. I was very confused so I went online to look at the shoe on their website. When I selected size 13 online in the shoe I wanted the website clearly said they had the shoe in the size I wanted available IN STORE at the exact Oxnard location I was at.

Very annoyed with this experience and although the guy working looked busy he was not at all nice or helpful to me. I left the store irked.

This store is the worst ive ever seen in my experience shopping retail. Was looking for basketball eqiupment for girls and Jacob avoids me and pretends i'm not even here pretending to be too busy doing a "bopis" or whatever to help me. To make things worse there are no other associates on the floor looking for another one is a treasure hunt. I just left never shopping at this location again store manager and associates need to step up there act if they want to survive.two stars cause the manager Sarah managed to help find what i was looking for thats about it

Jay was exceptionally helpful in the fishing department. We left there with 2 new rods and reels

Maybe the selection is more based on locals, but I feel it is not very wide at this Oxnard location. I found a few cute sports bras, though!

Store is laid out well. Stock is easy to locate. Staff is friendly and helpful. Prices are not outrageous.

Long lines. Only two stressed out cashiers that have absolutely no customer service skills. Waited over 15 mins to get a fishing license and pay for my things. Not once did they acknowledge me. We ended up leaving our things we had picked out and walked out and headed to Big 5 in Ventura ️

They had what I wanted. However is a chain store that so not exceptional. Customers service is a little lacking and slow.

Almost unbelievably bad customer service from the teens and 20-somethings working here. They all went out of their way to let me know that my questions about their products-about which they knew nothing-were irritating.
