I recently had to go to DMI for a new procedure and was pleasantly surprised what great care they took in making feel comfortable and ready for it. Carly was so kind and patient. She had a calm demeanor that made me relax and feel I was in good hands. Dr. Sassoon was kind and provided excellent explanation to make me feel at ease. Thank you both for making my experience so easy!

I’ve had multiple appointments with DMI in Santa Maria which have been okay but my last visit was horrible. I had an ultrasound on September 6 and my ultrasound tech was super insensitive to my request of having my partner and mother in the room. I had a total meltdown and was crying before my ultrasound began. She told me she’s not an obgyn office and she’s not entertaining my wish to have two people in the room when there was more than enough space to accommodate. I believe there were better ways of declining my request instead of being so rude and insensitive. If customer service is important to you, I recommend not going to DMI of Santa Maria for your ultrasound needs while pregnant.

Waited two months for my mom's appointment, we show up and I'm told they cancelled the appointment because they Left a message asking for a call back to confirm the appointment (appointment left on my mom's phone who is elderly). My mom didn't realize she had messages in her voice mail, So DMI took it upon themselves to cancel the appointment because they didn't hear back. I told her no one called me her caretaker (which I had provided my number at the time the appointment was scheduled), I received an email reminding me of the appointment but never said anything about needing to call back. They should make calls reminding patients of their appointments but not cancel them (no other medical providers do this). Now we have to wait another month for a new appointment. Ridiculous, DMI should have automated text messages to confirm appointments like other providers, or reach patients by text, emails, letters USPS, no answers unknown numbers these days.

I went to my appoitment this morning just to be told i did not have one.i check my messages to double check and told her the pricedure i was having done and they told me that they cancel it because i did not answer, when i have confirm it online. What a waste of my time.

This clinic has poor customer service. Staff are not knowlegeable with the insurance card and not articulate enough to resolve issues. I wasted my time waking up early and not getting the procedure i came for just because they do not know what they’re doing. Very disappointed.

I'm very claustrophobic so i was very scared But the MRI was open and very fast plus the tec.was amazing and the staff. It's like a big flying saucer hovering over you other than the noise it so much faster than the old ones. Hope that helps my fellow claustro's!

I’ve had nothing but professional interactions with the staff and the techs at this location as well as their facility in Templeton.
