Dim Sum House reviews
19Decent selection of dim sum items, fast efficient service, food is slightly overpriced, portions are adequate.
This is the worst run restaurant in LA. Their phone is just off the hook when they get too busy. No message just busy.
Customer service sucks. I drove over there and they told me hour wait for takeout. Clearly they will be out of business soon.
Food was good, solid. They have most traditional items. I've been here 2 in the past 2 weeks. It's comparable to some good spots in DTLA, Gardena and Torrance. Right now they have 50% off so your dumb not to go. Service is more than adequate, no carts here. This is one of my comfort foods I enjoy the eff out of it I'd recommend hope you like. This place was amazing! It seems that the place now had a dining area, which is spacious. Previously, I think it was only take out. The food has always been great here but they have a special going on for the month where all Dim Sum dishes are half off!
The staff was great and super friendly. Will definitely be going back again real soon.
Amazing deal for September 2023 with 50% off dim sum! Favorites here were shrimp dumplings, pork buns, chicken feet, and pork shumai. Shrimp dumplings had large plump shrimp with hints of white pepper. Pork buns were soft, fluffy, and tender but could do without the corn syrup topping.
Service was fast and all the food was hot! The ambiance is your typical older Chinese restaurant, cozy
Nice people and the dim sum is solid for the west side. Free parking lot for the strip mall. They’re having an awesome deal for the month of Sept 2023 where all dim sum items are 50% off!
I am so loyal to this place. The service and atmosphere aren't great but the food is so outstanding and reasonably priced that it doesn't matter.
Food is standard
Service is okay
Place is not very clean
I expect should be cleaner since it’s in Westwood.
First time ordering take out, I ordered veggie noodles and veggies rolls. Food was good but sadly it had a plastic I almost swallowed with the noodles. Lost my appetite
We have eaten here a few times and the food is amazing! The dim sum here is one of the best in the city, no joke! The shrimp dumplings are amazing (lots of shrimp) and the turnip cakes are simply the best. If you're looking for great dim sum, this is the place to go in LA!
Tasty local Dim Sum joint on the westside when you cant make it out to the SGV. Some say its bland but nothing like a dash of soy sauce & gettin creative w/ your fav condiments to elevate the flavor profile. Personally, I prefer this way than overly done IYKYK
This isn't a great restaurant. The food is too expensive and most menu items are bland. I was happy to see congee on the menu, and the server was helpful, but otherwise it wasn't a good experience.
I vibe with it. Very nice chef who sings when he brings u your food. What a G. I wouldn’t recommend the juicy pork dumplings. But everything else we got was yummy.
The food was delicious! My only concern is that they’re still using styrofoam containers, which are not environmentally safe.
I love this place I order delivery all the time, but always make sure to include some buns and hot and sour soup.
I drive my car to this restaurant but boss of it is very rude and don’t want to refund my money very disgusting
Delicious dim sum made fresh (the wait is worth it). Very friendly and attentive service too!
I got their beef porridge the other night and let me tell u it made me feel like my mom made. Loved it.
