Visited this store today and was very impressed with how well they handled their customer service. The store is well organized and easy to find exactly what I needed. The staff members were very friendly and helpful assisting in needs.
Specifically the guy name Jacob was very helpful and helped in heavy lifting and gone above and beyond in helping me in rapidly manners. Thank a ton Jacob for all your help today.

Asked where something was and got the classic point in the direction. It took me a while to find what I was looking for but eventually got there.

On more than one occasion over the span of the past few years, I’ve been frustratingly talked down to by the employees of this store (different people each time too). Yes, I am an Asian female who shops at a hardware store without a man, but I do know what I am talking about and looking for. Worst part is, they consistently give incorrect information or look at me like I don’t know what I am talking about (yes, that part does exist, and I found it right after you walked away all smug). From time to time I do encounter friendly and non-patronizing employees though, and I can generally find what I am looking for without having to go to Home Depot.

If I could give zero stars I would! I have never had to experience being profiled ever until today. From the moment we walked in. Andy an employee asked my husband and I about 30 times if we needed help finding anything from the moment we walked through the door and while following us through the store. Not only did Mr Andy follow us but he made sure he was sharing with all associates to keep an eye out as everyone who worked there seemed to have all eyes on us. I started to get annoyed since really we just wanted to get lights for our Christmas tree and look around but I was being harassed the entire time. I'm all about customer service, however the only customers treated in such a way was myself, my husband and a homeless man with a backpack who looked like he could hardly walk. There were older people in there but not once we're they followed or asked 30 times if there we're looking for something specific. Our visit lasted about 10 min and what infuriated me most was that when walking out of the store Andy then decided to chase us out and tell my husband that he saw him put lights in his pocket. My husband then began to toss everything out of his pockets on the sidewalk.this was so embarrassing to say the least I was livid. We totally understand that there are a lot of people who steal and take advantage of small stores even big ones at this point however, this is no way to treat anyone ever! We do not look homeless, I have stage 2 breast cancer and bald with my husband who is also bald with glasses we parked our car directly in front of the store in a tight space, we truly were not there to do anything but spend money on items we needed for our home and left with nothing but anger, tears and feeling completely embarrassed. I will never go back to that store and I hope that no one has to experience this ever. We are so appalled especially to be treated like this in an Ace Hardware / True Value Store

I posted this on Yelp as well where there are many other similar comments but no response from the owner. Google seems to be the right place to get a response from the owner. I did also call the customer service line and requested a call from the owner with no success.

Tons of stuff and specials. And then they have stuff you can't get at Lowes or home Depot. BBUUTT they ran out of CMN buckets.which was such a rip off. And now this trip I had to wait for nobody to come help me when I was told someone would come help me I felt like a woman doesn't get much help. A person helped a man but he wouldn't help me or ask me if I needed help or anything The person was a male

A little bit of everything. If Lowe's or home Depot doesn't have it, Ace most likely will. Street parking only. Kind of small but it'll work for things you need for your unique project.

Place doesn’t close tell 6pm you can show up over an half hour early. And they have all the aisle packed so u can’t even shop. Then when u ask how to get to an item then get told that you can’t. I physically had to walk across pallets of items so that I can even attempt to find my item. Just gonna drive to Home Depot instead of walking the few blocks here.

I went in to look for a couple drill bits, but everything is locked up individually on the pegs, so it's nearly impossible to read the back of the packaging and find what you're looking for. I guess a sign of the times and area, but the bits at Home Depot in Santa Clara weren't locked up, so I could actually find what I was looking for.

Super glad I meet with Edgar today, great experience and customer service. He definitely helped me out by choosing the correct sandpaper for my project and tools needed to get the job done. Took his time to explain why I needed certain items instead of blowing me off on the generic speech. Greatful I meet with Edgar today would definitely recommend.

Everybody was super friendly there and helpful. I got the tool I needed to open a 5-gallon paint can, and they gave me stir sticks as well for my paint can, complementary. I had a key made with a fun design. A lot of local shoppers there.

These guys take you in person to the isle of the item you're looking for and explain in easy to understand language how to actually use it. Very pleased with my experience there.

It's a neighborhood hardware store and they carry a good variety of things you may need to address things around the house. Store is staffed well and they come right away to help you with what they can.

I ordered a tool for curbside pick and their website said it would be available that same day. After waiting a while I called the store and the manager said they don't sell.tgat took and don't carry it at all. He was very rude and unhelpful. Said he would cancel my order but it would take up to 10 business days to even reach my account.
STAY AWAY AND GO SOMEWHERE ELSE! NOT ONLY ATE THEY UNORGANIZED, UNTRUTHFUL, AMD RUDE BUT THEY'RE OVERPRICED ON WHAT LOW QUALITY ITEMS THEY DO HAVE IN STOCK.

The staff is super friendly and helpful Joshua by far is one of the best employees they have there. He helped me find everything I needed and makes sure customers don’t walk out the store unsatisfied. 5/5
